Bayview Restaurant

My husband and I married and held our reception here back in 2014. We had looked at 7 venue locations prior to seeing this one. The moment I saw this I was stunned. It’s was so beautiful and perfect. From the Bay lawn to the huge formal Spanish dinning room. My favorite was the massive Spanish ceiling and tile fire place. It’s a hidden gem. Not only was it the best location but the least expensive since it was on the base. The weather was perfect on our wedding day and ceremony was outside on the lawn facing the beautiful bay. The pre- reception was on outdoor the patio. And the reception was held inside. Everything went great. The only down side was the service. They ran out of food. This explains the four stars instead of five. Normally, 10-20 % of guests that RSVP do not show up. However, I stayed on top of my guests count just a few days before the wedding. So all but 1 guest showed. Not something venues expect. So with that said, they didn’t order enough food. Some portions were much smaller then others on the plates. But regardless everyone had a great time and the venue was stunning. If anyone were to ask me if I would have another event there the answer would be yes. But I would definitely reiterate ordering enough food for the number of guests.

The staff truly loves to serve and support the military that protects us. Great customer service, laughs and always unique events going on here. Just be mindful if its a Wednesday or Thursday; family days can make it tricky. The crew is quick and efficient though regardless of whats thrown their way. The food and drink selection is pretty dang good too!

Very nice, the event we attended was well hosted. Worth a visit if you have the opportunity. Food was excellent. Company was the best you could ask for, Marines/Marine families, new and old.

We had lunch there when attending our son's graduation from boot camp. It was amazing. You just have to watch your food due to flying thieves in the air.
