In town for the day and looking for a place to eat that was off the path. We ended up parking right in front of the place and walked around the neighborhood to see the choices. This is the place. The stars align the doors open wide and you find yourself pleasantly surprised by a wonderful dining experience. Ernest Hemingway said if you want to learn to trust people, then just trust them. And so I trusted Juri’s recommendation for wine, the cheese platter, beef Wellington with bone marrow and spinach dish. The wine was La Redonne from Jean Luc Colombo’s that Juri picked when I asked for something like a voignier and Sauvignon blanc. What a wonderful dinner at the bar along a tree lined street on a beautiful spring day in San Francisco.

This little tucked away place is amazing!!! It's perhaps the smallest restaurant I've ever eaten at but I never had such a great time as I did when I ate there! The rotisserie chicken with the porcini mushroom sauce was to die for and the cauliflower cocotte was simply amazing!!! Great French wine list, too! I can't wait to come back!!!

One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants! The manager, Juri, is both charming and attentive to every detail! Daniel, the chef, is delightful! The vibe is fun and lively, especially when it's warm and the doors are open wide. The menu is scrumptious and changes just enough to keep things interesting and fresh, but not so often that you love something only never to eat it again! I have a second home in SF and always eat at Cocotte when I am there. It's a SF restaurant not to be missed!
