One of the best restaurants I have ever seen. Excellent service with good manners. Delicious food with a spicy and tasty salad that everyone really wants. Thank you for your service and delicious food.💐🙏.
My oh my! Been wanting to go to this place after I saw someone recommending the Kunafa(K'nafeh) here on reddit. Wonderful place, with amazing staff & lovely ambience, and with great arabic music that is at just the right volume. The veggie combo platter with pita and side sauces(mint tahini and a kind of onion pickle) did not just look tantalizing, but tasted so heavenly! The freshly made falafels were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, coupled with the tahina, easily the best ones I've had in the US. Loved the creamy hummus, ful(specially with the dressing on the ful) and the dolma here.
Also had the wonderfully spiced coffee in a prettily designed cup and saucer and the mint tea.
Coming to the Kunafa, sooooo delicious! Right amount of sweetness, heated to perfection. Tasted even better than expected! Enjoyed every bite of the cheesy goodness!
Definitely worth going to SF from the south bay just to eat here :P Can't wait to go back here with friends next time!
Got a recommendation from a friend and the spot was on point. Best Mediterranean food I’ve had stateside. Authentic, fresh and delicious.
A bit on the pricier side for this type of food but not expensive and well worth it. The atmosphere on the patio section outside is a 10/10, inside could really use some work it’s more of a 6/10.
But the kitchen is clean and the food is great. Service can be a little slow during busy times, it is well worth the wait though. Highly recommend this spot!
This place is a bit high end, pricier place for Mediterranean food. However, the experience is definitely better compared to any typical place. The food is well prepared and the service is top notched. I love the vegetarian platter and the assortments of pickled vegetables here. We would love to come back and explore more authentic dishes here.
Delicious food, so hearty and comforting. We usually get the vegetable combo plate to share cuz it has all the vegetarian goodies and have been loving the mansaf, comes with this awesome broth that you can drown your rice in. The Arabian lentil soup is also delicious, as is the Mousakan. The sumac is SO sumptuous and fragrantly tart on that chicken and the bread beneath it. The hot tea is such a lovely way to refresh the palate in between bites too. We stopped by the Middle Eastern market on the same block afterwards this time to buy the yogurt drink they serve here. The salty drinking yogurt was a surprise - SO good!
It's very excellent palestine restaurant in mission district.
The restaurant serves large volume plate even for Asian male. Wrap might be appropriate for female.
I happened to stumble upon this amazing restaurant on accident as I was walking through the Mission. This is the best Mediterranean food I’ve had! It’s a bit pricey but the meat combo plate was worth it.
People super friendly
Food is really good and authentic
Tea and desert are great
Highly recommended
Old Jerusalem has been consistently a good restaurant for many many years. This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of San Francisco. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to their delicious and chill atmosphere. They got a nice back patio open as well. I recommend trying the Chicken Mousakhan, roasted chicken on top of a fried bread.
Delicious hummus served the way it is supposed to, in a big plate. The Vegetarian combo is exceptional. They also have classic middle eastern tea with fresh mint. Lots of Gluten Free options (though no gluten free pita or substitute). Service is also really wonderful.
