The best tacos in San Francisco
Los taqueros son muy amables
4 stars based on flavour and value for money. Recommended by a local, I wouldn’t have stopped in just by walking passed. It looks more like a quick takeaway place but does have a spot out the back. We got the Zorro burrito. It was massive and so tasty. Crispy chips inside and fresh. We also got some nachos which was over ordered. Free corn chips and salsa to start too! If you’re up for a cheap and easy Mexican stop, here’s your place.

Extra yummy authentic tacos. Definitely not your most fashionable eatery in San Fran but it makes up for it in flavor!! Dynamite! Make it a stop on your agenda.
Our food was good, but not exceptional. There weren't as many sauces and toppings to add to your food as you'd expect. Good, but not enough to make a special trip for.
Came here in the early AM after a night out on the town. Conveniently located no frills Mexican joint with late night hours. Fantastic food, friendly/quick service, great prices and portions. A few little tables inside but most people order takeout. The tacos were great, and the Zorro burrito was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Best meal on this San Francisco trip! Loved the thematic interior and wall frescos. Order the Al Pastor super taco (with the lot), a Mexican coke and got complimentary tortilla chips and 3 small containers to hit the salsa bar!
The salsa bar was fresh and beautifully presented and I tried the tomato, verde and habanero salsas. All delicious and the habanero was spicy but didn't blow my head off. My food was brought to my table which was a nice touch given this is a fast service restaurant.
The portion size of the single super taco was enormous (forgive me, I'm Australian and portion sizes in USA still astonish me). The pork was tasty and tender and all the toppings went together perfectly. Staff were friendly.
Sadly in Australia, we have garbage Mexican food... I wish Taqueria Zorro would consider opening a Sydney outpost so I can eat there all the time!
Don't miss this place!
This is one of my favorite spots to eat at. Everything is very good. I've never been disappointed. I love their Flautas, Quesabirrias, Quesadillas and Tacos. Churros are really good too.
Taqueria Zorro is located in the North Beach area of SF. The taqueria is neighbors with the Condor strip club- Carol Doda. The taqueria has no Chicken Mole so I ordered a Pollo Asada burrito. The taqueria is the safest bet if you are hungry for Mexican food. The taqueria is clean, organized and stocked with happy customer service staff. I enjoyed my food and the decor.
Just finished eating my tinga pollo burrito, it was one of the best burritos I have ever had. Already trying to figure out if I can fit another visit while in San Francisco. Good size burrito and chips for $14, hard to beat the price.
It was always 5 stars for me; everything was in my package in the past; today order for pickup. First time they didn’t package The Horchata that was in my order. 2 of 3 items received
Great place with cheap food.
Their Zorro was quite delicious and enjoyed the touch of not using rice and beans but french fries instead.
It was well complimented.
In addition, their sauces were awesome. Habanero one was quite spicy and it hit right.
Definitely a place to checkout if you are under a budget but still looking for banger food.
Check this place out! Great tacos, open all day and prompt service. We hit this place twice on our 3 day visit to San Fran. Fried fish is the bomb 🇲🇽
Late night hit this place wandering around the Columbus Street. What a way to end the day with my stomach filled to neck with the delicious Carnitas Burrito. Carnitas was so soft and chewy. The green salsa was the best among the other salsa. Wished the hot salsa to be a bit more hot.The Burritos had no cheese and avocado though.
Place was delicious, staff was very accommodating with my food restrictions. Will definitely be back soon. My son can't stop kicking his lips from the mango habanero salsa
