This is a serious sausage place. It was born out of the old TAKE OUT ONLY Rosamunde on Haight Street. Traditionally the service can be a bit “rustic”, but most sausages are pretty good. It has been approved by many German sausage lovers. The beer selection is superb. Great variety from sour to IPA - they even have a great non alcoholic IPA! Atmosphere is only good when it is busy- otherwise it feels pretty dreary and sad. It is a bit more pricy than I like it, 2 sausages and one beer is $36.

Try the burger! Trivia on Tuesday nights at 730! I've been coming here for years and always got the sausage (great variety), but was feeling adventurous and got the burger this time. It was great! One of the few places that actually cooks it medium rare when you ask for it, it was juicy and had all the standard toppings. The fries were also excellent. Jeff, the trivia MC is very entertaining.

The perfect place for a delicious, quick and inexpensive lunch! I love to stop here before heading to the park to catch a pickle along with a sausage. There could be a long line sometimes, but the girl in the counter is quick and will have your food ready in 5 -10 minutes. Strive the Merguez and also the wild boar, those would be the best!
