Martha & Bros is a small chain of coffee shops in San Francisco, with two locations in Noe Valley, one in Bernal Heights, and one in Inner Sunset. Martha & Bros is not just a cookie cutter coffee shop however, it a legit coffee house, not just a cafe. They roast their own coffee, daily. The owners grew up on a coffee plantation in Nicaragua (and yes, it was started by Martha and her brothers).
I came here on a Saturday morning and it was packed! The service was standard — nothing special. And indeed, the sandwich was good, but not mind blowing. HOWEVER, the coffee was so so delicious. I like my coffee dark and strong, and Martha's delivered with a rich and almost-burnt-tasting-but-not-quite iced coffee. Mmm. Will definitely come back.
I do enjoy a good pour-over or French press, and I love how much more informed the general public is getting about sourcing coffee, but sometimes, a tasty blend, quality service and snacks, and a warm welcome is exactly what I need. Martha & Bros. provides that.
A place with outdoor and indoor seating which is hidden , offering privacy and quiescence to study and converse. Widest varieties of coffee beans for sale ; I need to come here more often.
On my way to Noe Valley on J train , I notice a man praying to the Sun , engaged in yoga ! Is everyone in SF trying to be a a Hindu?
Very good coffee and the staff are really sweet.
They have some specialty coffees. My flat vanilla oat was smooth.
They had a few vegan and gluten free options in the bakery but I needed up getting a carrot cake.
This is not near my route but if I’m in this area again defiantly getting some coffee here ❤️
Nice place to stop in for a coffee. Good wifi, though it did not work on my phone only my laptop. There were not power outlets in the indoor seating area so come with a full charge.
Service was amazing and the coffee was great.
We had the raspberry mocha latte, coconut latte and a slice of the apricot orange cake. The coffees were pretty good and I could definitely taste the raspberry in there, but the cake was amazing! I definitely recommend the cake. You could feel the tartness of the orange.
It was love at first visit, as the team is just full of good vibes and the coffee is great with their almond croissants.
I absolutely love the customer service here;
It pales in comparison to the Starbucks nearby. Everyone here immediately greets you with “hey friend, what can I get for you,” or “hey friend, how are you?” Also the golden latte with turmeric and decaf soy milk, was absolutely delicious. The flavor was powerful and strong, yet drinkable because turmeric is a hard spice to take straight. But it’s really good for you!
Great selection of drinks and pastries, including gluten free options. Kind service.
