Beat meal I’ve had since I got to San Francisco.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in this part of the city -- and they deliver to boot! So welcome in our area (Duboce Park / Castro / Lower Haight / Hayes Valley) - it's been a Chinese food wasteland for the longest time, and now we've scored a bona fide home run with Wonderland. No exageration - I eat there easily three or four times a month. Fantastic dishes include their General Tsao's Chicken (don't scoff, just try it, you'll thank me), the Cumin Lamb (amazing, and I've never seen this dish elsewhere), the Avocado Spring Rolls, the Dry Braised Chicken Wings (even better than San Tung, trust me), the Ma-Po Tofu (I like to order it with pork), the Wor Wanton Soup (a HUGE meal, don't underestimate it), and the Salmon and Asparagus. Everything is so fresh and delicious! You can tell they care about using quality ingredients, and it shows. For a real bargain, check out the lunch specials with soup, salad and rice for under $8. Just about all of their dishes are on there. Possibly one of the best kept lunch secrets in SF.
