Came for lunch on a Weds, decent space in downtown. Clean establishment, amicable staff. The Chipotle chicken avocado sandwich was okay, nothing special about it for the price.
This ain’t your typical American sandwich joint. The Earl’s club and Italian sandwiches are probably the best but you can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu. Definitely one of my favorite go-to spots for my sandwich fix.
This is another location I have tried and they are delicious. I was in Florida when I tried these sandwiches. This one in San Jose is just as good. It's worth the money
Just went to the soft opening and got the turkey holiday sandwich. Highly recommend it if you like Thanksgiving in a sandwich. Park across the street in San Pedro square. So happy that I don't have to go to Disneyland just to go to Earls!
Great hot Sandwiches! I know people like to compare with it's counter parts in other locations but relatively in the bay it's one of the best. The servers were very kind and that made my experience so much better.
Food is decent, hostess / cashier (I think her name is Tiffanie) is SUPER nice! I just wish they still made the reuben sandwich. I would recommend the Cuban.
Sandwiches are absolutely delicious. Good selection different varieties. Made with fresh ingredients. Great location. Great customer service. They Suggested their favorites and popular buys. You can buy your meal and take a walk to the nearby park for a picnic or Enjoy and Take in the scenery of downtown San Jose.
For a franchise sandwich place this place is pretty good. However, that good does come at a price, the price in fact. Parking validation and some in-door seating, if you're looking to try some different sandwiches and are willing to pay a bit more for it, you might think about giving this place a try.
One of the only things I didn't like at Earl of sandwich was the size-to-price ratio of the sandwiches. The quality/taste was good enough to help curb that feeling somewhat. Just make sure you go in there not expecting to be filled up for cheap.
Earl of Sandwich is a place you must know. Not perfect, but good enough to recommend. When the bread is fresh, the sub is being made with love, and when you know what you know, the bottom line is a perfect bite. This is what I get every time at Earl of Sandwich.
It was closing time and Jenny was so kind and accommodating—she didn’t show even a tiny bit of impatience. The sandwiches were delicious (as always). Many thanks!
