I remember the first time I stepped into a Lee's Sandwich in San Jose. I thought it was so cool that it was so modern and you waited on your orders of sandwich and Vietnamese coffee- " #28, Your order is ready" announced over the speakers. I remember looking around at all the what looked liked bunch of packaged colorful appetizers laying around being sold. I bought a few items w/no idea of what the heck I was eating. But, I was ready for the edible adventure!
Van An( San Jose) makes lots of this hard for me to pronounce delicious items. Buy a bunch for a snack or a meal! Mom and Pop shop and Cash Only.
My favorite spot whenever I crave for bánh ước or banh beo. These are made on-site so they are always fresh. The ways they make the diluted fish sauce is also so delicious
Easily one of my favorite Banh Cuon spots in SJ. It’s always fresh and the perfect bite size. The texture is just perfect and the amount of flavor in the sauce and banh cuon itself. Highly recommend :)
If you loved to eat banh uot, banh cuon like I do, this is probably one the best place to get these items in the Bay Area. Most of the items are freshly made. There are many to go items and you can always call ahead to place orders for party etc. Highly recommended!
Nice little Vietnamese bakery. Most items are made on site. Cash only
