This place is such a hidden gem in San Rafael! The carafe of mimosas is amazing with a trio of juices to add. I was looking for a plant based meal - bit hard to find so I went for a Belgian Waffle. Patio was so great for a brunch. Seems dog friendly too.
We were looking for a dog-friendly place to have breakfast/brunch in San Rafael and this is it. Everything was tasty. We sat in the back patio.
On 10-14-23 I attended a baby shower that was held at this place. They had a very familiar atmosphere for the occasion. The food was okay, salads and drinks excellent, only the fajita was not as flavorful. but the customer service was 10 out of 10. It is one of the aspects that makes you return to a place like this with a cozy and pleasant atmosphere.
If you’re looking a good homemade and organic meal, this is the place you need to go. From chilaquiles, to calamari, Hawaiian burger to an old fashion pancake order, this place has it all. Staff is unbelievably friendly, polite and respectful; they are always checking if you’re food is up to your standards and they put a tremendous effort to make sure you have a pleasant time. Absolutely love this place.
DELICIOUS parfait!
I ordered a pineapple mimosa and didn’t like it so the waitress brought a juice that was berry based to add to it. The drink was so delicious after! Service is amazing, they are so sweet! Not too expensive just the type of good vibe morning cafe I LOVE. Very well done. Waitress name was karimi? She was so sweet and introduced the place to me in a marvelous way when I told her I had never been there before.
Very good breakfast cafe in this area. The food is so delicious and big portions, I had 5hr Robert’s slow cook corn beef which is ridiculously good! The outdoor seating is very comfortable and warm even in Bay Area cold wet winter weather. The service is very good. They are super nice and friendly.
Very friendly staff. It was packed on a Sunday morning which was a great sign. I was seated promptly. The Crab Benedict was delicious but why where the poached eggs sweet? Nevertheless I enjoyed that and my mimosa. For the two items including a 20% tip was $40. Thank you.
Love, love, love this place! Super a creative menu. We had the red chiliquiles, organic oats and the pineapple cakes which were all out of this world. The decor is super cute with a garden theme and bright colors everywhere. The staff is great as well. Super friendly and informative.
I love going there! The staff is amazing, Alexis is so welcoming and cheerful and takes the time to remember my usual order. The venue is beautiful and cozy. Most importantly the food is delicious, they are vegetarian friendly and make their tofu taste great. If you’re looking for affordable delicious healthy food with great service, Garden Cafe is the spot for you.
