You’re going to be hard-pressed to find better broth and ramen anywhere in Marin, or the Bay Area to be honest.
Here’s what you need to know:
1. Great menu options from broth to noodles. You actually have a number choices rather than, “Here you go, take it or leave it...”
2. There’s a gluten-free option for every dish.
3. The ingredients are all fresh and prepared an exhibition kitchen.
4. The beer selection is outstanding! The best of local craft beers! It would be nice to see something there from Marin Brewing.
5. Service wasn’t Yuzu's strong suit, but I’m guessing it will improve over time.
The only thing that made me nuts were the water glasses; they're so tiny! Who thought a four-ounce glass was a good idea?
Last but not least... On the weekends you wait for a table, the service will more than likely suck, but hey, it’s Marin, and what else is there to do.
Best ramen I've ever had. One thing that needs improvement is the service. The waitresses seem to walk a lot, even the bartender has to walk around to serve customers. It's a long wait for food, but it's worth it.
First time here with a friend last night—changed dinner plans as I walked by and saw this sign (see photo). On a coolish night ramen sounded just perfect. While I rarely visit a new eatery without doing a little research this sign reassured me that the owners CARE about the quality and sourcing of their food. This lived up to my hopes—pork ramen was SO tasty, hot and nourishing. Moderate portion—no leftovers. Service was warm, friendly and attentive. Having TVs where I eat is never appealing to me but it was silent and my back was turned to it so no problem. Atmosphere is spacious with high ceilings; could be a little more cozy with maybe plants and such. Thank you for sourcing organic, nonGMO, non MSG, pastured and grass-fed meats—it means a lot and is highly appreciated! Keep up the great work! Will be back when visiting San Rafael for sure!
Absolutely lovely experience. Service was quick and efficient. Employees are super kind as well. Food is awesome as well. Had the Miso Ramen (spice on the side) with a side of 8 pc Gyoza.
The ramen was amazing to the last drop. Pork Belly was amazing. The noodles were amazing. Everything was soo good.

Two vegan ramen options, spicy or regular. Nice, but broth could be improved. Also delicious local kombucha on tap. Lovely staff and a huge selection of beers.
One of my favorite ramen places ! The noodles are great and so is the miso broth, always love coming here, great service too 😄
The food here was soooo good. The service was slow but everyone was very nice. If you are not in a rush and like a good bowl of ramen I highly recommend this place!

Yuzu is a wonderful ramen place. They make their own delicious bone broth, and noodles, and each dish is prepared with loving care. My friend and I arrived just before noon, and the place was empty, but a few minutes later began to fill up with lots of hungry customers. The staff is very nice and explains the different options. I didn't have a beer on this occasion, but enjoyed a big mug of black tea brewed with maple syrup and ginger, which was quite delightful and went well with the soup. We were able to sit outside as it was a nice day. The inside is a large room which can hold quite a few people. They serve both lunch and dinner 6 days a week, and are closed on Monday. Try it, you'll like it!
Amazing broth for ramen. You can tell the noodles are home made and absorb the broth flavor. The menu is on the smaller side (only one veggie option) but it's delicious and quality. Their sushi is about $13-15 a roll but they're very good as well. Good beer selection (fresh too), but about two or three wines. Their business lunch is probably my favorite, the service is lightening fast. An occasional date night is alright but the TVs might be distracting. They have a pet friendly patio that makes this a great place for us to stop for a weekend lunch.
