Nice downtown San Rafael Starbucks on a sunny day. Good music, good service, and nice mix of people. Pour over coffee options is a good alternative to Pike's - which is now the only afternoon brew in all Starbucks stores. Also be sure your phone or laptop is charged up when you come to this location. They've pulled out all the electrical outlets here. Darn!
Had a happy young playful staff during the Christmas Season. That was Christmas Joy despite the red flag of being just another corporate Starbucks. I have to admit that i REALLY like the Juniper Latte (Christmas Seasonal)☕🌲

World famous Rafael Theatre is nextdoor, and the Mill Valley Film Festival envelopes this Starbucks every year. Lots of downtown activity is here. Used to be a nice place to meet with friends. No more. It's been stripped of conversational lounge chairs, electrical outlets, and much of what was nice -- to keep it as inhospitable as possible to the street people who frequent downtown San Rafael. (New company policy at least allows anyone to use the bathroom, as long as they can memorize the ever-changing code that unlocks the door!) Nice kids who work here. Coffee is still the same, sometimes good, sometimes mediocre, sometimes really bad. Same snack foods. But you KNOW - location, location, location....
Having spent my youth working here I have a fond affinity for this place regardless of its current standings. It's always been great people great coffee / tea. The one issue that I can think of would be availability of seating due to large homeless population taking up seats and not being customers.
Nostalgic German pancakes. Great atmosphere. Tasty food. And great service.
Don't listen to Riley! Sure there are bums, stinky and smelly kind too. The employees are pretty good at kicking out non paying patrons. Friendly service and they know your name. George Lucas frequents this Starbucks too early in the morning. Also I've seen a few notable writers come in as well.
Great service and accurate orders. The food is Starbucks so judge the food on that merit.
Paid for a travel coffee. No one started it after I waited 25 minutes Then it took another 15 minutes to make. Frustrating to say the least.
They refunded it fully and were nice. Changed from 1 star to 5.
Although Starbucks quality of coffee you can never compare to that of speech for quick cup of coffee it's always a good place to go because it's never crowded and those locations are very convenient that's about all that they have on pizzas convenience to call they can't be compared and they always have some fresh items for your lunch or snack

Starbucks is always consistent. I get Cafe Americano every time I come to Starbucks occasionally I will get there Reserve coffees. They have a variety of food selections I like there reduced fat turkey bacon sandwich. It's a great place to hang out.
Team always goes above and beyond to deliver the best. Place is always super clean. Staff is top notch I use this location allll the time and my orders are always perfect ! Love this place!
