Great place to for a night cap. We went in after a concert around 11PM and even though it seemed full we were able to find two seats at the down stairs bar. The menu is full of wonderful small plates and snackable items, the Pork belly and Flatbreads were incredible. The cocktail menu is the star though, large selection with new and old classics covering both dark and light spirits. I was surprised when the bar tender told me they would make my cocktail upstairs, but a few minutes later one of the waiters showed up with it, no long wait. Treat your self to a great time.
Friendly, easy/going place for a cocktail and meal. Sit outside upstairs and enjoy the view. Manager is a cutie!
It almost seems like you won't like it when you walk in ... but then it really knocks your socks off. creative food, cool ambience, great cocktails. Try this place!
515 kitchen and cocktails. Like this spot in Santa Cruz. It has good food, although it can be a bit spotty at times. On my last visit the bleu d'Avergne burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had anywhere, However, my dining companions steak was a bit skimpy and weak. Looked like a strip steak, lots of fat on the edge, not a good thing for $23. The pomme frites with parmesan, rosemary and truffle oil were incredibly good, and the mussel starter was solid.
Never been as good since. I had the best blackberry mojitos of my life from 515 for brunch back in 2007. The rest of the brunch was very good, but the drinks were amazing. I've never had anything as good from 515 since, but those mojitos deserve mention. No doubt.
Great cocktails. Food and ambience are nice, but what is really wonderful here is the adventurous cocktail menu. Enjoy with some tasty appetizers by the fireplace (indoors or out)!
The outdoor seating was heated and protected overhead from elements. The table style was awkward for sitting next to my husband, but they were open to moving people around if you don't like the table. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. I was disappointed that the indoor seating was not open. I really love the vibe inside and hope that indoor seating will return soon. We mostly had the vegetarian options - peanut noodle bowl (delicious flavor, tangy lime, scrumptious), grilled veggie plate (the mushrooms were so good!), and Dragon Fries (delicious, spicy, and fish flakes are Bonita tuna). The drinks are always excellent, strong, and unique. My husband enjoyed the Cinder and Smoke (he enjoys spicy and smoke), and I had the Quarter After Five (it was a beautiful mix of orange and bourbon). Great place for a date night. I don't recommend taking kids here, the menu is designed for a mature palate.
Wonderful bar and great Asian appetizers such as their version of Lumpia, and their version of Korean fried chicken. Their Korean fried chicken was So Crispy and Crunchy! It was soooo yummy!
They have great drinks too! I recommend the "Ain't life Grand" it was a nice smokey whiskey drink. We sat on the patio which had heat lamps. Their patio is dog friendly. They have restrooms. Staff incredibly friendly.
Hands down one of my favorites places in Santa Cruz. Food is always fantastic and flavorful, I highly recommend the Korean Fried Chicken and Dragon Fries. The Kiwi Sesame Salad and Wasabi Deviled eggs were also good. Cocktails are always innovative and delicious- the Jinx Monsoon is one of my favorites, the Wallflower is also quite good. If you're feeling adventurous, try the Cocktail of the Moment. Love the balcony seating, too.

Great atmosphere, nice people, fun music. Great food, great drinks. High on the price side, but a great place to go once in a while with friends! Nice restaurant downstairs and a really cool Lounge upstairs. Couches and comfy seats and a really nice outdoor area.
They are really fun. They bring you your check in an old book from the 70s. You always get a different book.
Hip upstairs spot for creative cocktails, solid beer choices, and a well-prepared and curated menu. Flavors of both food and drinks are clearly balanced and complement each other. The staff are delightful. I'll be going back!
Overall the service was good and the food and drinks were great. They did a good job with masking and sanitation. We sat outdoors with the heater and it was really pleasant. Food was good and it wasn't too crowded on a Saturday night. The 515 margarita was great too. We will come back for sure.
