When you can afford to treat yourself to a premium, epicurian cupcake, Buttercup is the place. All of their creations are obviously made to be not just eaten but experienced—made with care, love, and creativity. The flavor combinations are sooooo delicious, not just cakes paired with frostings, but everything that goes into every pastry, sweet or savory. <3 Fill me up, Buttercup!

My favorite bakery in Santa Cruz! There are always 3 or 4 vegan cupcake flavors and often other delicious vegan options. I especially love their vegan muffins. I have ordered the gluten free & vegan chocolate strawberry buttercream cake for birthdays and no one knows it is vegan/gf! So delicious!
