Was here for several hours and roughly around 8pm when we first showed up it was pretty slow and plenty of room to choose where to hang out, as the night went on the bar and the whole place picked up and got busy. There was a DJ and dance floor, playing solid music, the bartenders were pleasant and nice too. The overall atmosphere of this place was relaxed, you could either be chilling on the couches and vibing or you could be on the dance floor getting down. Definitely a pretty cool place to check out if you're going out in SC.

Definitely lives up to the name, because the inside aestheic is red. The drinks were pretty good here and they have plenty of spots to sit and have a chat. Good for what it is, would recommend checking it out.
Downstairs is a great, mellow bar and lounge, a great respite from the thumpy, house rap music all over Santa Cruz. You heard if EDM Santa Cruz? Yeah, nah? Nice, friendly bartenders, very low key, relaxing vibe, and good beers on tap

Seemed like a pretty cool and unique place. The bartender was great, food was fast and surprisingly good.
Security was a little bit of a miss. They won't let you wear hats after 9(? Interestingly I have literally never heard of this at any bar), and some security guys were wearing hats. Also had to wait behind security taking shots at the bar. I don't care if they want to have a drink, but I found it a little off putting to wait behind them to do so as a paying customer.
Really you go here because there's not that many spots to go to in Santa Cruz. Good place to go to if you have a mix of folks who want to dance and want to just sit and drink.
Do not miss the Redroom on any trip to Santa Cruz! Historic bar/dining room and friendly staff. I loved it here!
