A fresh, clean and fun place to eat. The vibe is always friendly. The coffee is excellent and the menu is even better. I highly recommend this place if you want wholesome trendy food. It is my favorite spot for writing and working remotely.
I am a hardy fan of the breakfast bacon sandwich. I dream about these sandwiches. If you try one you won't be sorry.
My first time and LOVED it. The food was fantastic, the people and atmosphere are very friendly and inviting. I'm so glad this place is in my neighborhood, I'll be visiting frequently. If you go, try the egg/polenta/kale and/or the bread pudding french toast, can't go wrong with either of these two dishes! Fabulous!
This place is great in almost all the areas that matter. Great coffee (Similar style to Verve) with great food. The atmosphere is really open and pleasant, and it is easy to hang out or get things done depending on what you want to get out of a coffee sitting. Midtown also has a pretty amazing playlist selection that is pretty different than what you may be used to.
If you work remotely and need wifi and outlets, this may not be the place for you — Wifi is slower than some dialup connections, and there are only a couple of power outlets.
Overall, this place is great, and it's an overlooked gem.
The BEST place in midtown for coffee, although I'm still getting used to calling a latte a "flat white." Great coffee, great food and friendly people. Free WiFi makes it the office-away-from-office for a lot of us.
I just moved to Santa Cruz and Midtown has been a haven for me! Great food at affordable prices. You will always be greeted with smiles and if you stay long enough you are sure to make a few friends as well. Join the midtown breakfast club!
This place is amazing and will one day be attributed to the salvation of all mankind. Just like Wild Stallions from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Their manager was actually sent back in time from the future to make sure it passes a health code exam and avoids being shut down.
Breakfast bacon sandwich has pickled red onions (sweet and sour) and an over-easy egg that ensures you'll be wiping the plate with what's left of your sandwich.
Amazing fresh local food! Beautiful friendly staff! Rustic crafted decor. This place has everything! Even beer and mimosas!
