Sandwiches were really good, especially the smoked chicken club and the blackened snapper. We were a little bummed that a California deli had zero gluten free bread, though. Nice outdoor seating and warm hospitality.
Excellent sandwiches that combine complimentary flavors well. We especially like the fish and the brisket sandwiches. I prefer different bread than that offered at times, but they allow no substitutions.
So good!!! Brisket smoked on site that melts in your mouth. My new favorite sandwich place :)
Local deli, close to the beach. Had the hot roast beef sandwich called The Giant Dipper. It is generous enough for 2 and comes with amazing au jus. My half was half gone before I remembered to snap a pic! So good and great value.
Two words: the GROTTO. Omg....unfkgbelievable. I don't do bread...but when I do I get this sandwich. When I'm not doing bread (adamantly) I turn that into a salad. It is....simply put......DIVINE.
This is my favorite place on East Cliff. Period. Great selection of sandwiches....all unique to them. Same said for their desserts. If you haven't tried this place, go. I'll probably see you there. If I'm not there, I'm thinking about the next time I can be there. Facts. 😁😉😝
This deli makes amazing hot and cold if signature sandwiches! Newly opened, the place is sparkling clean.
I usually stick to one sandwich but I have eaten three and loved them all.
The Castle Beach uses fresh smoked brisket they grille everyday on the patio. It’s so tender I can’t believe it.
Lost Boys with its onion bacon jam can’t be beat.
The Grotto is a flavorful and delicate fish sandwich which I normally would not order but was very impressed it tasted very flavorful and not at all fishy.
They also sell beers on tap and in cans. This place rocks 🤟and I hope to try each sandwich soon.
Grabbed a few sandwhiches from here this afternoon and then ate at the beach. Absolutely delicious all around. My pic is of the Yacht Club BLT. Toasted bread, delicious spreads, fresh produce and exploding flavor. Will be back
The sandwich’s here are great and the staff is friendly. The price is on the higher end for a sandwich (15+) but I would say they’re worth it. Honestly I really don’t like being put in the position where I’m asked to tip 15, 18, or 20% on a to-go order of sandwiches. What service am I tipping for? The cashier? Them making the sandwich’s I paid for? The cashier flips around a Kiosk and you’re put in an awkward position of being asked to tip for a mystery service.
