This is hands down my favorite fast food in town. Kim is awesome and her food all has tons of actual flavor. The sampler plate is my go to favorite if I'm really hungry (it is large!), but everything I've tried is great (falafel sandwich, shawarma, etc.). Also if you like things spicy, be sure to ask for a side of their house hot sauce. I'm not exactly sure what's in it, but it has flavor and heat. I know the place is in a gas station and the parking can be tight, but for real, try this place out. So good!
Best falafel sandwich I've had in Santa Cruz! This place is great for so many reasons. But the bottom line is that the food is delicious. And I have some pretty fantastic cooks in my extended/in-law family having married an Asserian/Armenian. Consistently good and great service- like visiting friends. It's not a fancy restaurant, but if you are looking for great Mediterranean food to take out, you must check this out.
They made a vegetarian combo platter with tahini cauliflower and six falafels instead of meat. Falafels were small but tasty. Next time I'd go for the baklava over the peanut butter cup, which tasted more like coconut oil than peanut butter or chocolate.
The beef Kibbeh served served with garnish and several types of falafel are two of several hearty offerings at this modest filling station location. Wholesome fast take out.
