Dave from Barstool Pizza reviewed this establishment and gave it a great rating. Since I trust Dave's judgement and his taste in pizza, my wife and I decided to head over from San Diego and grab a slice while we were out and about. We must say it was everything we expected and more. We grew up in New York and New Jersey that says a lot,we know our pizza. Good job fellas keep up the great work. See you soon. FYI for any fellow New Yorkers. Don't worry about trying to find a spot in the street, the parking structure is free for the first 90 minutes.

Amazing pizza! Everything looked so good, so we tried it all. Delicious! Loved the garlic on the white pizza. Caesar salad and fresh grated Parmesan cheese, great dressing and fresh lettuce. Service was also top notch! If you are in Santa Monica and want a fast, affordable, delicious meal….this is it!
Staff were friendly, pizza was good and service was quick. Has the pepperoni and cheese pizza with a little Parmesan cheese and it was yum. Definitely recommend when looking for a quick slice.
Amazing spot for fresh and hot pizza! Ordered the cheese and Sicilian slice and it was reheated to a perfectly hot temperature. Tasted amazing and each bite had a generous amount of cheese.
There is not a lot of room to sit inside and outside and the place gets quite crowded when it’s busy.
Place doesn’t take cash either.
Great thin-crust pizza. Friendly staff. Decently priced for the area. If you’re looking for a quick bit away from the traditional fast food options, this is the spot!
If you want good pizza and quick, this is the spot! My Fiancée is from the east coast and she says this is definitely up there with the NY pizza. I tried their Sicilian and pepperoni and it was perfect. The staff is cool and welcoming 😎

Being one of the top LA spots for a NY slice, I had to check this place out. The place is very small but there is an area that you can eat, outside, which gets the job done. The menu is very basic that focuses mainly on pizza. Either a slice or a large pie are your only options. So we started off with various slices and I put an order in for pickup at a later time. The pizza was amazing! Nice and thin with zero flop. The crust had a great crunch to chew ratio and the flavor was simple and balanced. What makes this pizza so good is that the sauce, cheese, and crust compliment each other making it a well rounded (no pun intended) pie. I can eat their plain pies all day because there isn’t any need to hide the slice under a bunch of toppings. This place is as close to NYC as your going to get and this beats out a lot of pizzeria’s that I used to frequent when I lived in the Bronx.

My husband and I love Joe’s Pizza! Every time we’re in Santa Monica we have to get a slice if not a whole pizza. I love their white pizza and my hubby loves the pepperoni and the crust! The guys are always so friendly at this location, service is excellent!
Very good pizza. I enjoyed the Sicilian pizza (square piece) the garlic bread were so flavorful. I could probably eat a meal consisting of just them. The thin slices of pizza were good but not my favorite but I don’t usually enjoy thin slice pizza. When my boyfriend went to go buy an additional slice of Sicilian for him to try they said it would be an hour wait so he ended up not being able to try it. Overall, a great stop in Santa Monica.
This Joe's is for some reason different than the other Joe's Pizza. They have their own branding. They have polite service and they make the PIzza the best of all the Joe's in Central Los Angeles. Take it from me, as I have tired Joe's countless times at the following locations:
1. West Hollywood
2. Hollywood
3. Beverly Hills
4. Downtown LA
5. Greenwich Village New York
This is the one that does it the best. They are across the street from the Ocean which is probably why. They are in a better headspace than the other locations who are across the street from gasoline directly coming off of cars without Ocean breeze across the street. If you're wondering if it makes a difference which Joe's to order a full New York Style Pie from, it does. This is the one you should order from.
So glad we stopped by, the single slices are a great price and the customer service superb. The guys who helped me out were very friendly. I was still full from an earlier lunch but I knew I had to give them a try. The N.Y style pizza’s were deeeelish! Yes, the pies are thin but asked for extra crispy and they delivered, thank you! The Grandma pizza- Fresh buffalo mozzarella, marinara, parmesan and fresh basil, would be my next order for sure! If you need a quick lunch, this is the spot!
