Just had a sharing platter but was great, drinks a little slow but the waitress explained it was karaoke and only one bar staff on, still enjoyed it and great location for watching the street entertainers.
Fab place! Lively, friendly and loads of choice on the menu! Definately recommend for both brunch and dinner!
Good for a casual lunch or for groups. We had lunch here and found the serving sizes to be a typical American size i.e. large. I enjoyed my eggs florentine and because it came with strawberries it was like getting lunch and desert together, which was great. However, my partner was disappointed with his vegetarian tacos, which lacked flavour. Barney's is very casual and can get a bit noisey but is generally quite good; good value for money. The memorabilia on the wall adds interest although the old computers just make it look cluttered.
Great atmosphere. Decent food and a great place to shoot the breeze with some friends on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
The potato skins are beautifuly crunchy and filled with plenty of mushroom, spinach and lots of cheese. Oh these babies were my absolute favourite
Went to watch my 49ers win against the Cardinals..and watched the Bills beat the cowboys!
1st time there, they have lots of tv’s to watch the games on.

Didn't get a chance to eat here, but the atmosphere of this place was very unique. There were a bunch of license plates and Christmas lights on the ceiling, along with other memorabilia. The chairs at the bar were like car seats. I found that to be cool. Cozy too.
There was a pool table for people to shoot at as well.
The service was pretty typical but quite attentive.
Overall, this is one of the cooler bars I've been to as far as atmosphere. Very unique.
I've been coming to this Barney's Beanery for years and it never disappoints. I love to watch sports here, huge TVs and great beers and food. Famous for their chili, it's great. I like their Chili and Cheese Omlette! Yum. The decor is great too, fun photos, vintage license plates, all sorts of visuals. Bring your friends and family, Barney's = fun and good food!!
Barney's Beanery is a family friendly restaurant located at Santa Monica's Promenade.
I started with a 160z craft Stella Artois🍺👍, and for appetizer i ordered the Jalapeño Poppers which usually are made with jack cheese. It was my mistake not to double check, but they had cheddar cheese and we did not like them at all 👎👎.
On the other hand I ordered a burger and let me tell you, the meet was delicious, very good quality. You can tell they use fresh meet because the server did ask how did I want the meet cooked. I got the Bacon avocado burger and some onion rings. My kids order Chicken Sandwiches with sweet potatoe fries which were also very good.
Price range per person is $30 .

A very cool and fun place to eat if you’re at the promenade! Many options to choose from if you’re hungry. I don’t recommend the clam chowder very watery and plain. Sliders were good and the fish and cops were crispy 🔥 Our server was very attentive but we didn’t catch his name he was tall and blonde lol.

Our waitress wasn't so friendly, she took her time to get out drinks and would walk pass us, see our glasses were empty and not all is for refills.
When our food came out, we asked for condiments and her look was like we were bothering her.

The server suggested the wings extra crispy and they didn’t disappoint at all. Some of the best wings I’ve had on the west side. Lemon pepper was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I’ll be back for more! Shoutout to the server for knowing her sh#t. Great service and outdoor t.v’s which is ideal during NBA playoffs.
Been here 4 days in a row. Service was always very friendly and attentive. Tried the burger, pizza, chili, tacos and wings - all great for the price. Good selection of beers and cocktails are also better then average. We finished with s’mores and I’d definitely recommend especially for the kids.
Overall, it is a relaxed place with decent food and friendly service whether you are here with family or want to catch the games.
Best sports bar I've found in Santa Monica so far – and just a great, funky bar in general. Awesome bartenders. Great beer selection. Great seating both in cushy seats at the bar and in the rest of the place, including an outdoor patio. Very much above-average bar food, including an excellent Juicy Lucy, which I haven't seen since Minneapolis.
