Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a little hole in the wall with the most fantastic food.....get there early or be prepared to wait outside for a table......the granola, fresh fruit, vanilla yogurt bowl is even better than what I've made from home.....fresh squeezed orange juice......the fluffiest waffles I've ever seen....great service even when it's totally packed inside and out.....everything about this place is just phenomenal.....we will definitely be going back when we're in town.....
This place has great food and great service!!! The best chicken, waffles and mac and cheese I have ever had!!
Conveniently located on Wilshire with plenty of street parking, this brunch place offers pretty standard fares. We were seated and attended to promptly and were impressed by the lady who was managing the place - she was quick, warm and very active!
Waffles are popular in this place and almost everyone around us got the fried chicken and waffles. We got the Belgian chocolate waffle and it tasted very average. we also felt that the quantity was tiny for the pricing and the place. Everything vegetarian on the menu seemed a bit overpriced for the quantity and the place. It could be different for meat eaters though.
Such a cute place in Santa Monica. The food was absolutely amazing! The coffee was delicious and fresh. The gluten-free chicken and waffle was the best I’ve ever had! Must try this place!
Popular brunch spot known for fried chicken and waffles. Came here on a Sunday around noon and the place was bustling. Indoor seating available. Street parking. They do serve alcohol. Credit cards accepted.
I had the Dwight’s special which came with two pieces of chicken (boneless) and your choice of waffle or French toast. I prefer the waffles. The syrup comes on the side along with a ranch and an aioli. I also had the lavender honey latte, which was on the sweeter side and lighter on the lavender, but still tasty. It came with a little cat design which was super cute.
Delicious food and good sized portions. The brus French toast was huge with fruits and peanut butter. The chai latte was one of the best chais I've had.
AMAZING!!! Best waffle I’ve ever had! Beautiful decorations, gives off a calm and peaceful vibe. The presentation was definitely Gordon Ramsay worthy.
Service was very good! Ordered the chicken biscuit sando. The size was enormous and pretty good, however was the a little dry. Could have used more a sauce/ gravy. The biscuit was unusually dry and dense too, very ok. The sauce on the side was really yummy though
Went on a Sunday morning and our wait was about 30 min. Circled around for street parking for a bit but that's expected for this area. Once seated we were able to order pretty quickly. Servers were friendly, outdoor seating in the back was nice given it was a beautiful late morning/afternoon. There were 3 of us and we wanted to try a bunch of items on the menu since it was our first time. We ordered popcorn chicken, cheesy hash, shakshuka, bru's French toast and the pizza omelet. We finished off everything! The pizza omelet tasted so much like pizza that I didn't miss the crust. Will definitely go back when in LA.
We went for brunch on Sunday around noon, there was a wait line, it took around 20 minutes to get a table. The chimichanga was great, the fried chicken with cheesy Hashbrowns was really good, my only complaint is that they give such a small portion of hashbrowns compared to the size of the chicken. The bloody Mary was pretty good. The lavender mimosa wouldn't recommend, I love all lavender but the syrup wasn't good at all. The hot chocolate/mocca was delicious. Nice place but Will not return.
Tourist/not local review: Went during the week on Thurs and Fri for breakfast. No wait times either day. Sat outside first day and inside second day. Great staff and delicious food. Love the coffee! Blankies are amazing, fresh and sweetest strawberries! Potatoes reminded me of home, def recommend if you like breakfast potatoes. The biggie breakfast is awesome. Turkey sausage tasted like regular sausage. The French toast spin with cinnamon sourdough is delicious, def recommend with bananas. The chicken omelet is amazing, merge of chicken enchiladas and traditional omelette, def recommend if you want to try something new.
We arrived for brunch around 11:45am and were sat right away. The host and servers were all attentive and friendly. The menu is massive with many choices! The breakfast sando is packed with protein; the croissant is fresh and buttery. I added avocado to mine, and chose the breakfast potatoes. These were delicious and reminded me of a homemade version of potatoes O’Brien. The hash & Benny was also yummy with a Smokey flavored followed by a mild kick. The green wellness drink was also refreshing and tasted with a hint of orange flavoring.
