My husband and I had a wonderful lunch experience here. We sat outside at the high bar and loved watching the people walk by. We had two people serving us. Both were knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. They also were very passionate about the food which was really cool to experience. They are a French inspired restaurant with a burger bar for lunch and French cuisine for dinner. They had a very unique imported water menu. They didn't have the two we wanted to try so we had tap water instead. I had the burger and my husband got the tuna buger. We hardly spoke during the meal because we couldn't stop eating it was so good! We shared a side salad and french fries. Both were far above average. The fries were crispy and flavored well. The salad had unusual greens and a subtle dressing. We will be back for sure!
Just had a wonderful dinner with my girlfriend. I had escargot followed by Le Tournedos, she had Le Bœuf Bourguignon and roasted cauliflower. Amazing water menu and wine selection. Dessert of Lemon Tart Meringue. Excellent service. Will be going back!!
Absolutely amazing food! And it's really reasonably priced, should only be "$$" price rating. I had the duck dish it was cooked perfectly to medium rare, the combination is great in flavor. Thank you!

This place is a really fun concept. Fine dining gourmet French quisine in a bistro setting. The service was fantastic, and the food was delicious. I gave only 4 stars because they do not have a wine list or bar of any kind. I would have loved to pair my meal with some wine.
The lunchtime pop-up at Air Food definitely boasts the best cheeseburger in Santa Monica for $11. There are so many fancy schmancy places these days and while Air Food's burger does include bechamel sauce and a toasted brioche bun, it's not over-the top fussy.
If you're a traditionalist, you may be sad that they don't serve fries or frites, only cubed roast potatoes.
Our service was pretty good, but not excellent. If you sit outside on the deck, it's harder to get noticed if you need water refills and your bill. I'll definitely give them another shot!
Creative French cuisine with very friendly service. The foie gras appetizer was outstanding, the tapenade served as hors-d'œuvre as well; fish gratin de quenelles and duck were good too. It's entertaining to watch dishes being prepared on a TV showing a live feed from a camera looking down on the kitchen counter. Doesn't serve alcohol yet as of writing (Sept 17), makes up for it with extensive water menu.
I wanted to try their dessert but was too full eat in so I asked if I could have the Poire Pochee A packaged to go. They typically don't package desserts that entail hot chocolate or anything a la mode for obvious reasons but owner Marcus and Chef Thierry were both gracious and accommodating enough to humor me. Their to-go solution? They packaged my little poached pear dessert in a charming jam jar! Ive never been made to feel so special in ANY food establishment. The entire staff exemplifies class. Thank you so so much for making my experience such a great one... by the way, i was just short of licking the entire jar clean, it was scrumptious!!! MERCI BEAUCOUP!!!
Honestly, the best burger that I ever eat !!! The place is beautiful! The food is amazing! I tried the lunch and the dinner menu, it was really really good ! I recommend!!!
