My recent dining experience at Tacos Por Favor was an absolute delight! I ordered three beef tacos, and they were a burst of flavor in every bite. Each taco was incredibly juicy, perfectly spiced, and downright delicious. The quality of the beef was outstanding, tender and packed with savory goodness. The combination of flavors and spices truly elevated the taco experience.
The ambiance at Tacos Por Favor was lively and inviting, setting the perfect atmosphere for enjoying these incredible tacos. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. The presentation of the tacos was visually appealing, and the aroma was simply irresistible. It's evident that Tacos Por Favor takes pride in crafting exceptional tacos.
I highly recommend Tacos Por Favor to anyone in search of authentic, mouthwatering tacos. Whether you're a taco aficionado or just looking to indulge in some flavorful Mexican cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and savor more of their tantalizing taco offerings. Five stars for an unforgettable taco adventure!"
Loved this Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious. The mushroom tacos were my favorite. The lengua and asada were also really good, as well as the milanesa torta. The fish taco was okay, wouldn't get again. All the portions are pretty big which makes any dish worth it. For example one soft taco could easily be 2. The service is good and quick, no waiting staff. The atmosphere reminds me of a cafeteria which is not bad. Would definitely come here again and recommend it.
I literally dream of tacos por favor every single day. For affordable meals and large portions, there is no better place than tacos por favor. We got the breakfast chilaquiles as well last the machaca plate and I could not decide which one is better. If you stumble upon this, please go!
There’s a reason I ALWAYS get tacos in Los Angeles - every place is amazing. Tacos Por Favor is no exception. These tacos are some of the very best I’ve ever had.
The asada taco was so flavorful with charred steak. The carnitas taco was soft and savory. And the pastor taco was tangy and a little sweet! My favorite was their quesabirria tacos, which are filled with shredded beef and cheese, and then the outside tortilla is lightly fried. I do wish they had given some broth to dip it in like I usually prefer, but it was still great nonetheless. They gave excellent verde and red sauces, as well as a extremely spicy dark red sauce that helped cut through the fattiness of all the food. It was such a good experience and some of the best tacos I’ve had!
Everything was so good, the meat was tender and flavorful, the corn tortillas on the soft taco were amazing. But the best part was the guacamole - unreal! The best guac ive ever had.

I found myself craving Mexican food and wanted nothing to do with the overpriced slapdash places you find close to the beach. So I put by back to the water and headed east. About 14 blocks up I found Tacos Por Favor. As stated on Google Maps this place really is understated. But it is clean and I was served quickly. The food was well above par and very reasonably priced. I would eat here again and often.
My favorite place for burritos and tortas. The prices have gone up a bit and the portion sizes have become smaller, but the quality remains very high. We enjoy the chicken, carnitas, carne asada, and spanach burritos. Also he ham and cubano tortas. An unassuming vibe. Lots of seating. The antidote to chain fast food restaurants.
Tried the chilaquiles and chicken torta for breakfast before we head to Palm Springs for another shoot. So. So. Good. 🤤 Hit the spot for my Torta cravings and the food was served pretty fast! Definitely would come back again when we’re in town. 🙌🔥🙏
I just got my carnitas burrito to the lunch and added fries just for a $1 to get even better for the taste and weight lol. This place is very nice old school with a classic decoration. The staffs are nice and fast like the food they serve. The price for the Santa Monica area is not too bad because it’s a lot of food to eat and you really get full.
Not from the area but came here hungry for tacos. Ordered the California asada burrito and I must say it is so BOMB. Comes with chips and salsa. Hands down the salsa here taste way better than Chipotle.
