Srvc was great, super attentive but not annoying. Food came out @ a good pace. The ambiance was beautiful, romantic, but not so for that you couldn't see the person in front of you. Drinks were delish. The chicken liver paté was really good, came w/country toast that was crispy & crunchy & didn't cut the roof of your mouth. The cream of mushroom soup was mild & pleasant. Spare short ribs wasn't anything special, the salmon was in a purse filled w/cauliflower, potato, asparagus w/a side of white wine sauce to drizzle over the fish (good time to boomerang). I would definitely go again for brunch (bottomless mimosas or rosé) or dinner

Great food and the best service in town. Managers Erin and Jimmy are awesome and head bartender (mixologist) Chris makes the best cocktails in town. Sunday English roast is off the chart but don't wait for Sunday. Regular menu is delicious for lunch and dinner as well. Beautiful outdoor patio is perfect for special events or intimate meal.

A small group of us came here on a whim for dinner on a weeknight. We were sat at a table in the back outdoor area. It was nice as the weather was warm. To start I had the Hamachi appetizer. The fish was delicate and the cucumber salad that it came with was light and refreshing. For main I had the pork chop. This was executed perfectly. The pork was cooked to perfection and so moist. I love the ambiance of this restaurant. It's dimly lit with a romantic feel. I can also see this restaurant being great for birthdays as well. There are a few longer tables in the back that is perfect for big groups.

This is a great place! The outdoor patio, the ambiance, and the food were amazing. I went here when I was on vacation up in LA (from San Diego) visiting my sister. She said she found it due to the chef being on that show top chef. She took us here and we were utterly impressed. Pretty expensive, however worth every penny!

Very good, personable service. The outdoor seating is nice and shaded and has heaters. Food was very flavorful. They have simoe well done bar food as well as well crafted higher end entre and dessert options for a more formal meal. Overall great experience.

Being English myself, it’s always hard to find food that makes me feel like I’m back home and has the same exact taste. They did an AMAZING job! The roast beef Sunday dinner was Beuatiful and is a true English dish! I will definitely be returning! Very friendly staff too

Hol’ up! Are you telling me this elegant and sophisticated restaurant has Happy Hour Monday-Thursday 5pm-close??? I mean cmon this can’t be true. Well ladies and gents it’s certainly true and it’s certainly a really good deal. They have draft beets for 4 bucks, wines for 6 , specialty drinks for 8 and an assortment of nibbles ranging for 7 -9 bucks. The ambiance is great. Dimly lit but very vibrant. I came here for a networking event and although the area was small for us to move around and mingle, the atmosphere was very nice. Also we only had one bartender for our section so getting drinks was a hassle. Other than that this place is gorgeous. Really worth a visit! There is street parking around Wilshire and down some of the side roads. Make sure and pay attention to the signs because the neighborhood parking is for residents only.

Enjoyed my recent lunch here. Looking forward to going back. They’ve had a new chef here from late Nov. 2017 — Chef Brendan Collins, formerly of Waterloo & City. He’s given the steakhouse menu a slight twist with British style Sunday roasts and a scrumptious English Sticky Toffee Pudding. The cooking also reflects the chef’s classical training under Marco Pierre White. I used to go to Waterloo & City a lot, but prefer this location because they’re more spaces which are quiet enough to hold conversations (especially the beautiful patio).

Attended a dinner here recently put on by my office with a fixed menu. Couldnt have been a nicer experience. The filet and hamachi were delicious, and the staff was very attentive. We sat outside on the heated and well lit back patio, which was a beautiful space. Overall a great evening and would definitely return for a special occasion.
