A cross the street from Starbucks, on Montana and 7th. It's worth to cross Montana for a much better coffee and ambient.

Unfortunately we were very short on time and had to take out our drinks so didn’t get a chance to enjoy the food. Despite the 4-5 people line we were served pretty quick. We liked our drinks too.

We were driving from Oxnard to San Diego and wanted some quick coffee. Their coffee is AMAZING, there’s a lot of coffee shops in LA but not many offer a raw sweet taste like this one. Their house made specialty syrups are vanilla and hazelnut. There is a Starbucks across the street but this would be a better choice to enjoy your coffee. They have about less than 10 parking spaces in the back then you’re left to street parking. No wifi, single bathroom available. Good place to chat, read a book, or just sit and enjoy your drink. They have a lot of small tables, can’t fit a laptop comfortably. If you’re looking to work or study, they have a high chair bar area and some outlets. Their theme and design is nice, we love their lighting since it coordinates with the natural door lighting.
Pictured is their New Orleans style cold brew and am already consumed slice of coffee cake; both of which are exceptionally good.
The cold brew I opted for is lightly sweetened and has a nice amount of almond milk to tie it all together. As I wrote this review I was nestled back at a shared work space bar top where everyone was courteous, kept to their work, and made it all a rather calm and enjoyable experience.
We came here based off of a glowing recommendation from a friend who used to live in the area; I’ll say that their red is on point and the shop is fantastic.
I stopped by Primo Passo one morning and had an iced latte. Coffee was ok, not spectacular, neither anything to complain about.
There are seatings both inside and outside on the sidewalk. The store is bright and clean, service was friendly. Looks like a good local spot to hang out.
Good things take time, so keep this in mind when coming here. I ordered a latte and a hazelnut latte. These handcrafted coffees take time to make, but I am guessing if you wanted just a regular drip it would not cost as much $5 and more, it would be faster. I arrived at 7:30am and there were just a few folks ahead of me in line. The wait was around 10 minutes total.
Staff is friendly. Coffee delicious. Presentation beautiful. Price, on the high-end.
This is the best cafe I’ve ever been in a long time! High quality coffee and fantastic service in a lovely environment! What else do you need to work, hang out and simply enjoy!!
The espresso here is very good. I’d say it’s up there with Inteligencia Coffee, but the service here continually sucks there’s always a line out the door only one person taking orders it usually takes between 20 to 30 minutes to get a drink and I’ve been there several times before it would be nice if they got that more organized and could be faster.
A fan favorite post-run, surf, or cycling session. Nested in the heart of Santa Monica off the beautiful and bumping Montana Avenue, Primo Passo is a staple amongst locals for snagging a quick latte and walking around. If you want to dine in, share a coffee with a friend, or even co-work from their beautiful interior or outside patio setting, go for it! The staff is super kind and helpful even when it's busy and chaotic (rarely).
One of the best coffees in LA, they do offer a lot alternative milk options. Standard is double shot.
The staff was lovely and my cortado was super delicious. I loved the space. It's super open, clean and has big windows. There's a lot of seating and also seating on their patio. There's also a lot of great free parking around unlike the rest of Santa Monica 🙃
