Perfect spot to watch a game if you're a Mets fan. Great food and service too.
Had a great server (Dustin) and some of the best wings of my LIFE
Been coming here for years... hands down the best wing in LA........period. Our got to wings are the Sriracha Ginger and the pineapple habanero wings. Always perfect and always delicious 🤤
If your in the mood for a burger, have the LA burger 🍔 it’s an honest great tribute to the in and out burger. Wash it all down with a draft beer from a well thought out and curated craft beer list too. 26 taps to choose from so there is always something for everyone! 🍻
Man I love this place SO MUCH and you ill too!! They have a very unique beer selection and THE BEST tater tots in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!! Everything else on the menu is also bomb! The staff are super cool and always make you feel at home and taken care of. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!
Great place. Just come here and you’ll see why.
Relaxing laidback and easy going. Great beer list and tasty pub food.
The chicken taco is simple but so so satisfying.
The wings are huge and 12 will fill any belly.
Good music too and not crowded.
Come check it out.
Dive-y gastropub with happy hour specials on weekdays, including all day Wing Wednesdays. West 4th has a special place in my heart only because I really like gnawing on these wings. The buffalo is solid, but the mango habanero is the best one in my opinion (assuming you do like spicy food). Otherwise, the BBQ is sweet and the crispness of the skin contrasts very nicely against the tenderness of the meat. I do also like the spinach artichoke dip quite a bit, and the tortilla chips are housemade, so they’re quite fresh. The pretzel is only worth it during happy hour and the sausage plate isn’t as large as you’d think, so order a couple plates if you’re getting it. There’s a lot of beer options and some wine options as well. The bartenders are super knowledgeable about the beers and can make good recommendations.
There’s a second story level that would be more ideal for a bigger group to congregate, and there’s some games there too. Otherwise there’s booths and high tables, and the servers roam around to help out. You could also sit at the bar and just chill while watching a sports game on the multiple TVs. Bathrooms are in the second level and it’s a single room. No free WiFi and street parking is hard, so I suggest parking in a city lot for the first 90 min for free. It’s a quick walk from the metro as it’s only like a block away from the Downtown Santa Monica station. Overall it’s a laid back spot to eat some good food and have a vast array of beer options.
Not a bad joint at all. Went in while waiting for bikes - I didn't realize tater tots could be that good! Huge beer menu, friendly waitress and staff. Plenty of outdoor seating.
Great range of craft beers and the yummiest berry beer. Nice atmosphere for a quiet afternoon drink
Loved it. Wish I had one back home on the Sunshine Coast. Great cold beers, good food and friendly atmosphere. Staff know their beers.
A perfect bar as a local, or an out of town visitor. One of the best beer selections in LA, and the staff is kind and attentive. Better than average pub food, and close proximity to all things hip in Santa Monica. A great mug club for locals, and fun and relaxing decor. Great for sports, and private event booking.
Good, but I have a few suggestions.
First, Delirium Tremens should be a staple. Never remove this from your menu. I mean, I can get it in a bottle at the store, so how the hell are you running out of it?
Second, always rest your burgers for 3-5 minutes after cooking them. They're good burgers, but the pool of juice that drains onto my plate means that once I pick them up, I cannot set it down again else risking turning my burger into soup, also it's dryer this way. If you let the burger rest it will re-absorb all that moisture and remain a juicy burger.
Lastly, my burger said it had cheese on it, but I barely noticed. I mean, technically, I'm sure it did, but it didn't taste like it had cheese on it. Please correct this oversight.
Otherwise, this is one of the best places to eat and get a good beer that's not completely a tourist trap on the Promenade.
This has been my favorite burger since moving to LA. Still not used to spending >$15 on a decent one though. Good selection of beer on tap and great service. Plan to give other burger joints a chance before returning.
