As good as it gets, reminds me of the old sushi nozawa on Laural canyon/ Ventura boulevard. Extremely fresh. Make sure to get the jalapeno hamachi. Also, the spicy tuna roll was perfect
Absolutely worth it. The uni was pricey but omg was it fantastic. Honestly top 3 uni I've ever had. The green ice tea was perfect and not bitter. 3 rolls for the two of us was exactly what we needed.
We also had the oysters which was really good but I will say not my top 10. Mostly due to the sauce.

My recent dining experience at Noma Sushi in Santa Monica was nothing short of exceptional, and I’m delighted to leave a glowing 5-star review for this outstanding restaurant!
From the moment I stepped inside, I was met with warm and attentive service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience, making me feel truly welcomed and valued as a guest.
The sushi at Noma is simply divine! The veggie roll was a delightful medley of fresh, flavorful vegetables, perfectly crafted into a work of art. The bento box with chicken teriyaki was equally outstanding, with tender, succulent chicken cooked to perfection. Each dish was a delectable journey for the taste buds, leaving me craving for more.
The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall charm of the experience. The soothing atmosphere allowed me to relax and enjoy my meal thoroughly. It’s the perfect spot for a delightful meal with friends or a romantic dinner with a loved one.
The miso soup and salad were delightful appetizers, setting the tone for the culinary journey that followed. The hot tea was a lovely complement to the meal, adding a touch of warmth and comfort.
I genuinely appreciate the attentive service provided by the staff, making my dining experience all the more enjoyable. Their dedication to ensuring the comfort of their guests did not go unnoticed, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team.

By far my favorite sushi place in Santa Monica. I ordered take out and the next day enjoyed eating at the restaurant. I always make a stop when in town. The uni is fresh and delicious. So many options on the menu. Chirashi bowls are my favorite.
Absolutely delicious sushi and amazing service! This place was surprisingly busy and had good vibes on a Thursday night around 6-8. While there we randomly experienced a power outage and the staff was so nice and helped us pay our bill anyways. I recommend the hungry roll, caterpillar roll, and the Alaskan roll.
Noma sushi is my favorite Santa Monica sushi spot. Been going here for almost 10 years. The food is good and fun with some classic staples and unique dishes.
The service is... less impressive. It usually takes forever to get any service but the wait staff is always nice and pleasant if unattentive.
Ambiance is unique for sushi spot in LA. It doesn't try to be LA it feels more authentic.
It's such a great place! The food was really fresh and delicious. We got sea urchin - yammy, eel, blue fin tuna, and baby lobsters. Soup was great, but mushrooms tested like a rubber.
It's a bit pricey, but food is worth it. This restaurant got an amazing service.
Sushi spot in Santa Monica that’s good for grabbing a casual weeknight dinner. Came here on a Wednesday around 6pm and got seated immediately (note that your entire party needs to be present). We split an order of tempura udon and sushi ensemble (with spicy tuna rolls for $1 more). I really liked the udon, and the tempura was freshly fried and not oily. The sushi ensemble came with different cuts of fish so it’s a good option if you want variety. They do have lunch specials.
There’s a tiny parking lot as well as metered street parking. The restrooms were out of order when we were there. Credit cards accepted. Indoor dining only.
Nice place, commanding hostess ordered my friend to stand outside to wait. Decent food, bento box is good value. Spicy chicken had too much teriyaki sweet sauce not so good. Bulgogi is okay but a little too much sauce.
Get the hungry roll!! The garlic ponzu is incredible with the fresh greens, rice and fish! The nigiri was fresh and presentation was beautiful. Service was great!
