Great spot for a quick bite to eat! Menu is very easy to order from, either pick a set menu or order individually. You sit around the center kitchen where the chef will serve to fresh hand rolls as they make them. The hand rolls are crisp and slightly warm and has generous amounts of fish. The taste is also amazing! The place does charge a 16% mandatory tip which is a little high for the service that is offered, just be aware.

Got an order to go as a snack while walking around. Bay scallop was so good. My daughter who doesn’t eat fish enjoyed the cucumber roll. Would come back! Since it was to go, it’s not a hand roll. Packaging was really nice too.

It's all bar seating. Streamlined service and simplistic menu. Had the 5 roll set with substitution for salmon. I felt the perfect amount for me is probably in between 4 and 5 rolls for dinner. I liked the no fuss dining experience. The fish was fresh and the rolls were prepared delicious. Would recommend if don't mind waiting in line for 30 minutes.

The hand rolls were amazing. The seaweed wrap is crispy, the rice inside is warm and tender. Every bite is enjoyable. Hope to come back again and again

Kazunori is almost always a must stop for me when I'm in LA. This time, I ordered the nozie, subbing out the items I was allergic to. Service was a bit off (especially when they weren't very busy). I believe it was the manager..but he apologized for the odd service, and comped us albacore sashimi. Wasn't the biggest fan of it due to the sauce. Chefs could also be a bit more articulate since they were wearing masks, I had to ask them a few times to repeat what they were serving. The hand rolls it self were still as good as expected. The other plus was...for a Friday night, I was expecting needing to wait for an hour or so, but we were sat immediately, so that saved a star. Parking is super tough. I ended up parking in the garage next door for $10. All in all, Kazunori is definitely a must try if you haven't been already, service could be hit or miss.

Visited for the first time for dinner. I really liked the atmosphere and although the line was long, the wait to be seated wasn't bad at all. I found the experience efficient and the food very good. I also like that they automatically have a 16% surcharge to eliminate tipping. The staff took good care of us, but they didn't seem very happy to be there which kind of felt somewhat unwelcoming.

Had a quick and easy lunch here. Made the mistake of ordering the 6 roll combo without looking at the specials, so ended up with the combo and both specials. Highlights of the combo were the toro, scallop, and yellowtail. I think the lobster and crab had hints of Mayo, but I could be wrong. I really enjoyed the uni handroll special. The uni was rich, creamy, and sweet. It was the perfect counterpart to the expertly seasoned and cooked rice and roasted nori. Definitely worth a visit!

KazuNori makes you feel clean and refreshed. It looks so simplistic yet tastes so intricate. That’s what I love about good sushi, and KazuNori and Nozawa’s original restaurant, Sugarfish, deliver this in a delightful experience. It’s obviously much better to order at the restaurant, as they pride themself on freshness. That said, they present their Norimaki in a special box when you order to-go. I ordered the 16 piece with NZ Sea Bream. The Sea Bream itself was so delicate and fresh. I’ve lived in New Zealand for years and this comes close to the fresh caught Sea Bream I’ve had. The rest of the sushi, while generic, tasted top tier compared to other sushi spots. The salmon sashimi was also fire! If you are a sushi connoisseur, then you must go here or Sugarfish. It’s not cheap, but the quality is 100% worth it.

Great simple sushi, cool space, no nonsense. Stopped by late night on a Saturday for a bite. There was a queue but it moved quickly and the overall atmosphere was really chill. The fish was great and service was fast and pretty friendly. The hand rolls were simple and tasted great. The house saki was good as well. We’ll be back!
