Sonny's remains my 'home' pub although I now live in Long Beach. The owner, Grant, has kept the place friendly and inviting. The bar has a wide choice of brews and wines. It's a full bar as well.
What makes Sonny's, in my opinion, such a great pub, are the bartenders. Tracy, Rachel, Shonda and Peter, et al are excellent in their craft. Did I mention Tracy? They are easy in the craic realm.
The faire is also delicious. The menu is pretty extensive so most people will find something that will sate their appetites.
Dropped in to watch the Patriots game , what a great place to watch a game, plenty of tv's not a bad seat in the place . Food was good staff was great . All around great time highly recommend !!!
Thanks for being open on Christmas Day :) we are football fans and craft beer lovers. Going here is like hitting two birds with one stone. Lots of TV's! We were able to get at least one decent IPA and one good stout. They were so busy but our food came in a timely manner. I wasn't that impressed with my order of Curry with forbidden rice but my husband finished his veggie burger. Excellent customer service though 👌
Came in a few weeks ago on a Sunday morning for breakfast. I was in town for a funeral. I was the only patron there. Bar tender was pretty sharp as we had a wide-ranging series of conversations. His name was Brian. Top-notch experience, good food, and atmosphere!
Found this place kind of by accident but really enjoyed it. Our Scottish server was a queen and went out of her way to make us feel at home. They made us some Irish nachos and I enjoyed the pizza. Will certainly go back if we ever go back to that part of L A
After a long flight from NY, we stop here for a recharge. Was surprise on how many people were already at the bar for lunch. The service was quick, had a great beer selection and the food was good. Really enjoyed the fried pickles but wish they were more dill.
Onion rings and fries are on point. Burger is okay, both the patty and buns were incredibly dry and unseasoned but comes with generous veg toppings (also very naked).
Good mix of crowds.
Great way to spend a couple of hours. Pleasant atmosphere and great beer selection. Also, they have the BEST fried clams I've ever had.
Great vibe, excellent service. DAISY was our server, and she was fantastic. The food came out super fast. I had the fish and chips and it was a tad overcooked, I also had the clam chowder and it was freaking AMAZING! They still get 5 stars.
I would definitely recommend this place, and I will be back!
Easy going and relaxing bar. The service is good and the food is descent for the price. Lots of great beers on tap with a Boston theme.

My husband devoured his veggie burger, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the curry and forbidden rice I ordered. However, fantastic customer service
