I LOVE this spot! The menu is selective and they do everything SUPER well. I'm a huge fan of getting a coffee and one of their delicious pastries when I'm meeting a friend or having a meeting. The Loaded Burrito might be my favorite esp because it's enough for 2 and its got a mild spicy but sweet flavor to it - so layered! Sitting outside on the picnic benches is also a lovely start to my morning or an afternoon sun break! You won't be disappointed!

The food was decent, the staff was friendly. Had a grilled cheese and tomato soup. Quality and price seem on par with the neighborhood, which is by no means cheap. It's not my be-all-end-all lunch spot for the neighborhood, but worth a visit every month or two.

I stopped by Uplifters Kitchen to grab a quick bite and meet with a friend. The atmosphere was nice, quiet, clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Mac n cheese was fantastic and so was the little side side salad that came with it. Washed it down with a fresh made Arnold Palmer.

I’ve loved Uplifters since the first time I had lunch there (beet & goat cheese sandwich - fire flames), but their mega pro handling of an innocent mistake has made me a loyal patron for as long as I can be. I order food for my office often & Uplifters is a frequent choice. I placed an impressively large order on their website a few days before I needed it. I walked in and said “I’m here for the big order.” While the cashier’s eyebrows raised in confusion as if to say “.... big order?,” I didn’t at first suspect any issue. She went back into the kitchen to check their order system & immediately called the owner. Before I even knew what was happening, the cashier handed me her phone. The owner was on the other line and explained that some wires had crossed and our big order hadn’t made it from their ordering system to their internal calendar. She assured me this had never happened before (which I believe 100% - I’ve ordered for groups there before and they’re on. it.) and told me they would give me everything they could make me using everything they have in the store. In 20 minutes or less. A high bar to set on the fly, I’d say. But they did it. For real, they did it. Trays of sandwiches, pastries, everything. From the time they promised this to me to when they brought it out, no more than 18 minutes had passed. Probably the MOST impressive customer service experience I’ve ever received. Like WOW. Amazing work, Uplifters.
