This shop was closed for a very long time and it just opened again with a flavor of "Friends".
The service was very prompt and quick although there's a lot of tourists here.
Great quiet atmosphere in the morning. Even their rush hour was pretty relaxed. I ordered the flat white latte from the ads and found myself adding sugar pack after sugar pack. I don't personally believe it lived up to the hype. However, with cinnamon, vanilla, and chocolate shakers on the side I guess its up to us to dress it up the way we want it. Overall, nice being on the promenade (one block away), perfect seating along the floor to ceiling windows for people watching along Santa Monica Boulevard. Just don't think you can use those restrooms peeking around the corner, they are for Employees Only. I even asked even though its written on the door. Nope. Polite baristas, don't seem like they have a rude or mean bone in their body. This was the morning shift on a Thursday, mind you. Pretty fast service as well, they will call you by name when your order is ready.
The experience with this coffee was amazing. I really like how the coffee taste and that I am soo satisfy with my chocolate shake. I totally recommend you trying this place because it is so satisfying not only when you look at it, but mostly you taste it. This maybe a place where it can give you satisfaction.
My favorite coffeehouse. Everybody there greets me by name. You can hang out there for hours as long as you buy something. Free courtesy cups and filtered water jug with spigot available. I love that icy cold free filtered water!
Unlike Starbucks down the street off of Lincoln, they actually have places to power your devices. No USB but at least power outlets. Lincoln Starbucks a block away removed them on purpose during remodel to reduce loitering. Well it worked because I will be going to The Coffee Bean instead. The bagels and mini donuts are tasty and the staff were nice and bathrooms were clean. All improvements over Starbucks on Lincoln.
It's clean, friendly, consistent. Ive never had a bad experience here. I don't come that often because i live far but it's a friendly place pretty quiet but lots of happy customers that i see.
My mom and I been coming here for a 1 1/2 year already ,since we found out there are easy access to buses going down the city. And we stop by once a week. And the customer service is great{specially the manager :) } and friendly
Great value, price and quality wise. One of the best hot chocolates I’ve ever had and it was only a dollar more than Tom Hortons, etc.
Just walked in and ordered a salted caramel IB Alisa made it for me just the way I like it. Really enjoyed it. The staff is friendly, and welcoming. Thank you.

Yes, it's wise they don't have a bathroom here, or else, it'll be a wasted place.....I don't mind it at all.
