Fun place in the center of the Promenade. We ate at the bar and the service was great and the food was tasty. Nice place, can’t help the prices (it’s the people’s republic of Santa Monica but hey!). DH
My partner and I had lovely meals tonight. I had the cabonara and he the steak. Both were enjoyed. Sitting outside under a heater while people watching and listening to the buskers was a bonus too. Would recommend.
Great Italian restaurant in the middle of busy shopping area. Decent prices and good taste. The sandwiches aren't very filling though. But the gnocchi was really good!

Trastevere 1360 Third Street Promenade, (310) 319-1985. If you close your eyes, this trattoria-pizzeria feels so Italian that you might think you are in Italy. However, part of the fun here is watching the street parade, so seat yourself outside in good weather, open up those eyes, and enjoy the show. You might even spot a star. Inside, high ceilings and cloth-covered tables provide an equally inviting setting. After ordering, a complimentary basket of bread and some tasty chopped olive spread appears. Well-priced lunch specials include pastas, sandwiches, and pizzas. My favorites on the regular menu are a really good eggplant-tomato pasta sauce on linguini. I have my eye on pasta al salmone for next time, and many veggie options are available.

The lava cake was fantastic as was the food. Definitely recommend.
Thin crust pizza heaven!. On a busy Friday night, grand opening for the new Santa Monica mall, we were lucky enough to get a table for two in 15 minutes. Then a fantastic bowl of the house Minestone soup, lite and refreshing. Followed by a extraordinary pizza. NO LEFTOVERS. Must go back to resturant.
If you're on the promenade and want some good italian food, this place has awesome thin crust pizzas
