Best grilled cheese ever!. We had the ham and smoked Gouda, it was outstanding! The Cuban is the best I've ever had! so glad we tried this place.
Awesome sand which. Took a couple minutes to make it, but that's how I know that it's fresh. No complaints for $8
Don't Miss this Grilled Cheese Truck - It's Really Good. Of all the food trucks at Seaside and maybe some of the restaurants, this is the gem. Don't leave Seaside without trying it. Warning: the lines are crazy long. That tells you what everyone else thinks of this place. You can wait up to 10-15 minutes in a line, and then another 10-15 waiting for your Meltdown. If your family splits up and tries all the trucks, whomever picks Meltdown will eat last.
There is something for everyone and the flavors are so good. Goat cheese & proscuito is so good. So is the goat cheese and strawberry preserve. My favorite was muenster mushroom. Oh, my mouth is watering as I type this review back in my home town.
Great Little Place. We stayed in Seaside and I think my son and his friend had at least two a day during our stay. Great concept and good comfort food.
YUM!. Meatloaf = yum. Brie and bacon on cranberry walnut bread = wow. Love this place!
Meatloaf sandwich. That is all you need to know!
LOVED IT!. Nice people - Great food!
Grilled Cheese from another world. Stopped in Seaside, FL on a recent vacation and spent a few hours looking around. Lunch time hit and we decided to dine at the Meltdown on 30A. The line was a bit longer than the other trucks but for good reason...WOW! I had the Mealtloaf melt and my wife had the Bacon and Brie and they were simply the best grilled cheese sandwiches we have ever had. The menu has a variety of choices to choose from so those young to old will enjoy. If you are anywhere near Seaside in the summer, push through the crazy traffic and have a bit at the Meltdown on 30A I hope your experience is just as great and even better than ours!
So this is the best part of the menu at Meltdown on 30A. Its a little blurry, but it definitely says "Brie and Bacon on Cranberry Walnut Bread." Yes it does. And that's all I was interested in eating at this airstream food stand. We actually had to make a special trip over there on the day we were leaving to make sure that I got to try this. Brie is just so creamy, and everything is better with bacon. So now we have creamy, salty, savory, so what else do we need Let's add sw
On my birthday, September 28th, we drove to Seaside and walked around. Trey and I got sandwiches at the Meltdown. I loved that there was a street of restaurants that were in airstreams. The grilled cheeses were delicious and the perfect rainy day meal.
Delicious and well priced! We enjoyed the five cheese.
There is a great variety with this grilled cheese sandwich truck! I had the “this little figgy” (Brie, bacon, and sweet fig compote - pictured below) and my husband had the caprese with prosciutto. I liked mine but probably would try something different next time. My husband loved his. They were about $10 each, which for 30a food trucks…is not that bad. 😅 The cashier was SO friendly!
Great take on grilled cheese! The bread was crispy but still soft and the cheese melt was incredible. Seating is outdoors at first come, first serve tables.
I dream about the smoked turkey and bacon sandwich! Yum! Love the spicy sauce they put on it too!
Unwrapping a smoking turkey sammach is like listening to Phil Collins “Tarzan sound track” for the first time. The meltdown didn’t have to go hard like this!!! But they did it just for me 🥹🙌🏽🙌🏽
The lady taking my order was super sweet , sammach came out grilled to perfection, cheese stringier than a harp. I’m in love.
Greeeeat sandwiches. Also one of the best options in the area in terms of value. Plenty of other places are overpriced for what you get, but not here. Definitely recommend.
Consistently long lines around lunch, and for good reason. This is the best grilled cheese you might ever taste. Expect a wait, and it will be well worth it.
There’s a good reason this place is rated so well! We got the Cuban sandwich (best we’ve had in a long time), turkey sandwich (can’t remember the name but also great, a little spicy!), and the tomato soup (also good but nothing life changing… but does tomato soup need to be life changing?). Absolutely would come back here again. Good prices too! Sandwiches were perfectly cheesy too. Very happy with them!
Loved their grill cheese! What else to say 🙂! This area is located in a pretty neat common area when a some shopping, places to eat and seating to enjoy.
Was good food, got the all American sandwich and the cheese bomb sandwich. Was a really long line
