Spotted this place while driving at night due to the lighting. During the day, didn't really notice it. Call and grab a reservation. This place is Florida oasis as they take advantage of the outdoors and trees to create a very beautiful, relaxing ambience that can fit any occasion.
They have a large indoor and even larger outdoors.
If you order sushi, it'll come from the sushi bat which has a different delivery time than normal menu food. Not an issue, just an FYI..
Menu is good, was with 8 of us and I ordered the Gumbo which was very, very good. Ordered sushi and it was very fresh but the particular one I ordered (forgot the name) was "okay" flavor wise.
Tried bites of other food and fish was flavorful and perfectly cooked.
Highly recommended.
Came here for lunch, party of 4. The grilled oysters were some of the best ever. The seafood salad was really good, huge portion. The blackened grouper was tasty & fresh. The fried shrimp basket was great, coleslaw non mayo version. 2 thumbs up for this unique & eclectic place. At dinner we saw the outside light strings & packed of people enjoying the music & seafoods.
This is a great restaurant on 30A if you love good seafood, and lots of seating options both outside and inside. The indoor area has a great bar and weekend entertainment. The outdoor space is very large with multiple seating areas available. If it is a busy weekend, try to get reservations or get there early for a walk in spot. We had oysters and baked brie as appetizers and that was probably the highlight of our meal. The seafood dishes that were ordered were good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Another highlight of the meal were the two sushi rolls that we ordered and were outstanding the one downside to this restaurant is just the overall size. A couple of our meals came out and were not warm, and it took too long to get new drink orders because the bartenders were backed up. Overall still a very very good restaurant that we go to almost every time we visit.
What a beautiful oasis just minutes from Seaside and Rosemary Beach. A magical location right on the lake with a fairy-tale decore (Xmas lights) all around. Amazing service and authentic cajun/ southern cuisine. Plenty of outdoor space with lounge chairs and tables under the tree’s canopy. Don’t miss out on this surreal experience if you are in the area. And make sure you go for a short walk to the dock/upper deck for the serene views of the lake.
Food was delicious. Ambience was nice, it was just a little hot being outside which was a little uncomfortable. Will definitely choose indoors next time if visiting summertime. Fans were provided but some at the table could not feel it.. We had reservations for 16, our table was ready and we were seated immediately. Food was delicious and seasoned very well. I will definitely go back.
We had a large group and they were very accommodating. The food was delicious! The Florida humidity made it tough to fully enjoy the experience since we were eating outside with no fan or air flow. Unfortunately, we had only one server. She did as great of a job as one person could do serving 20 people. But, we made the best of it. I had to go with the Kobe beef since I don't get the opportunity very often. Yes, it melts like butter! I highly recommend this place if you're not afraid to sweat a bit while you eat (that's if you're not from Florida of course).
Had a great experience at Old Florida Fish House. The place is enormous, the food was good, and the service was excellent (shout out to Jacob G).
I had the sushi because I don’t often have option. The red dragon roll was delicious and the tnt was was okay.
The portion sizes made me happy (especially on the heels of another recent dinner that was pathetic). The salty pork appetizer was a good size for sharing. (Think that was a special and not regular menu).
This was our first visit but we will certainly be back! Party of 4 adults and two children. We had fried crab claws for the table - some of the best I’ve ever had. Two of us had the Grouper Fishouse and it did not disappoint. The other two had the blackened fish of the day, cobia which was cooked perfectly. The kids shrimp & fish servings were large and both of our little ones were happy. Service was great and the atmosphere is beautiful!
Our first time at Old Florida Fish House did not disappoint! We made reservations and I’m so glad we did. Valet parking was perfect, reservation line was pretty quick, and when we were seated, our waiter appeared almost immediately. The sushi was great, steak was delicious, and the pasta was perfection. Definitely try the tuna dip and the deep dish key lime pie!
I recently had my dinner reception for my wedding at Old Florida Fish House and cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire experience. Tonya, the even coordinator did a fabulous job from start to finish. Since it was a destination wedding for us, we weren't able to see the venue before the actual evening. Tonya and the entire team at Old Florida Fish House FAR exceeded our expectations. From the beautiful ambience of the restaurant, to the delicious cuisine, and attention to detail for decor every since thing was better than I could have imagined for my reception....just AMAZING!! The valet attendants and waitstaff were wonderful and so accommodating for all of our guests. I am SO happy that we chose Old Florida Fish House and would recommend them to anyone looking for a fun dinner spot or a beautiful event space. 10 stars if I could!! Thank you! 🙏❤️
