We met a few friends at Leoci's to celebrate my birthday. The weather was pleasant so we sat outside. Everything we tried was superb. The pastas and sauces were homemade not out of a jar or box. One of the most unusual items we tried was an appetizer of olives stuffed with duck pastrami, sounds strange tastes great. They do server beer and wine. The wine list is limited but good. The service was excellent and the waiter suggested a wine that was inexpensive and very good. I'm a foody that knows good Italian food. I grew up in New Jersey and had many Italian friends. I travel with my job and have been to several 4 and 5 star restaurants and this was the best Italian food I've ever tried. The ambiance is nice, but not up to a 4 or 5 star restaurant, but the food is on par with the best. If you was run of the mill Italian food go to a chain restaurant. If you want a dinning experience go to Leoci's. The food is great, the staff is knowledgeable friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. With a bottle of wine, an appetizer, two entrees and tax the bill was about $90 per couple

Excellent!!! Loved the outside setting. Classic Bolognese was surprisingly awesome. I expected a tomato base sauce never having traditional italian like this. Noodles are definitely made from scratch and not store bought. Bread had some density to it that was proven not to be store bought. This is a must! Some locals referred us.

Best Italian food in Savannah, hands down. Locally sourced, organic ingredients for Chef Roberto Leoci's dishes, and they even make their own pasta in house. I had the opportunity to see the kitchen and there were none of the mass produced Sysco cans and boxes as is typical with even higher end restaurants these days. Gnocchi was wonderful. Beef Carpacchio and olives were great. Loved the Tiramisu. Everything presented beautifully and tastes wonderful.
