I love this place, they have a great gluten free menu. We are from Rockford and it’s worth the hour drive. We could use a restaurant like this here! I can’t wait to eat here again!
We been going to big bowl since i was pregnant and i can honestly say the best customer service ever. We have gone on good days and on busy days but they have always given their best service. Food is beyond amazing! Now that we have our little girl we finally went back on April 28 and although i didnt get the managers name we had the best service! Shout out too all the team members at this location! You guys are the best
Few times ordered food for to go. Today we decided to dine in for the 1 st time. Pleasant atmosphere, and really good food! I was amazed with spicy beef! Surprisingly, my partner didn’t like his dish with shrimps. But, I will definitely go back and enjoy in beef meat again 😀
Big Bowl is one of my favorite noodle places. Came here after a long time and the food, drinks, and service did not disappoint.
My favorite were the dumplings, lettuce wraps, spicy green curry, and poke bowl. Each dish was packed with flavors and so satisfying. We also had the edamame , vegetable wonton soup, spicy noodles. They were also really good. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Special mention for the chicken teriyaki on the kids menu, my child devoured it.
Went here for a dinner.... Been here many times before... Love this place!

This time I was feeling a bit lazy so just went with their menu - spicy Sichuan Chicken & Eggplant with cauliflower rice!
Highly recommended, the eggplant was crispy on the out side sand soft on the inside! Amazing flavors!!

Our waitress was very kind and accommodating to my vegan friend that I was with. Making sure we got all the substitutions we needed!
Food was served very quickly and was yummy! Would recommend for a first date or for a quick lunch before hitting the mall!
Love their spicy green Thai curry and pot stickers. I liked the crunchy and chewy texture of the pot stickers. Recommend getting it with the peanut sauce. The green curry is a perfect dish for a winter night out. Warmth all the way through. I usually get it with or without tofu. Fudge cake was chocolaty and moist. The warmth of the cake balanced the cold ice cream well. Definitely a dessert for the chocoholics. They are a bit on the pricy side. Being seated can take a while and gets frustrating at times. Make reservations online. They don’t take reservations over the phone apparently.
Amazing place for food. Usually housefull on weekends. You can pick any dish from the menu, all are good. Staffs are friendly. Panang curry was super delicious. Fresh ingredients.

I've been to Big Bowl in downtown Chicago many of times before, so I knew what I was getting myself into. While I've definitely associated the downtown location with happy hour specials, this location is a good spot for a sit down meal. We made reservations ahead of time, and the staff was running efficiently. Our server was not only the one servicing our table but also manning the bar and incoming drink orders without missing a beat.
Food consists of various Asian style cuisines. I primarily picked up on various Chinese and Thai dishes, with some more recent additions including a poke bowl. There used to be a lot more customization options from what I recalled, but I think with COVID menu items have been cut down. But not to worry, quality of food was still very good. Overall I was impressed with the ginger beef noodles, poke bowl, and yellow curry with chicken over fried rice. All very delicious!
Anyways, this one is Lettuce Entertain You affiliated, so have those cards ready to rack up or redeem those rewards. Also, another heads up is to have those vaccination cards ready. This was one of the first establishments I've been to where they do check.
