The bagels are good, but the honey almond cream cheese makes them 10 times better. The one problem I have is that it can be a different experience each time, as in the bagels are sometime seem like they were cooked to long. Usually it’s a good experience though.
Last time I went, the bagels were vary good. My parents from California love to go out for bagels and said the cream cheese from here is some of the best they have had.
My ratings on their cream cheeses are as follows:
1. Honey Almond
2. Lemon & Dill
3. Olive & Herb
4. Pomegranate Berry
This place is like a zebra with dark blue stripes instead of black. At a quick glance it is just another bagel shop, but the name is the end of the direct comparison. These bagels are Montréal style so they are smaller in size then what you might expect and are cooked by dipping in honey water vs malt and then wood fired giving a slightly different result. The spreads and sandwiches are flavored and spiced from the Mediterranean and Middle East with zatar chicken sausage or herb and olive cream cheese. Don’t let your first glance fool you because you might miss the rare Montréal style bagel shop or a blue striped zebra.
My favorite bagels in Seattle! The cream cheese flavors are also unique and tasty!! They do use an egg wash on all of the bagels as an FYI
