Good Dim Sum in North Seattle!. This small place makes everything on site, and the glass cases display lots of beautiful baked hum bao and and other stuffed bun goodies, some savory, some sweet. They have a number of delicious steamed dim sum offerings, including shu mai, shrimp balls, and hum bao. They also offer some traditional rice and noodle dishes which I did not try. There are only 2 tables, and they're not really set up very well for dining, so most people do takeout.
I really hope this place makes it!
After seeing the good reviews we decided to try this place out. Very small mom & pop kind of vibe, really friendly service. We got a series of dishes and all were fantastic. The General Tao’s chicken was so moist and full of flavor and the dumplings were excellent. The Sweet & Sour pork was perfectly fried. I’m very impressed and will be coming back!
I had dinner at this place and had such a positive experience. I ordered their beef chow fun and dumplings in spicy chili oil. They were both so delicious, especially their dumplings!! They make their own chili oil and it is so flavorful and delicious. I can eat bowls of their dumplings. It is a husband and wife owned restaurant, which they opened this year. I chatted with the wife for a long while. She shared with me their story of how they opened this place. It is an inspiring story of courage, gumption and resilience. Make sure to ask her when you go in! She also makes her own candy that she packages up and shares with her customers. They are delicious!! This place is a gem and I'm grateful that I was in this area while running errands. Do visit. It's a special place ran by good hearted and hard working people. Make sure you get her candy for dessert!
