A quaint lovely place serving Indian cuisine. Though the name says thali, which is their speciality, they have an alacarte menu.
The food is excellent : not your typical Indian fare. Wish the service was also on par. The staff are friendly, but getting attention and food does take time.
Food is delicious. Tastes like home made. The place is cozy and has a good ambience. The only downside is that the wait time is too long. They serve different Thalis during different times of the year. The quantity, though sufficient doesn't match the quantity you expect in an Indian 'Thali' keeping in mind that the price is a little high.
Pretty close to authentic Indian home made food... only less spicy. Only reason for deducting a star is chapati.. it was frozen one.
Had full size thali, and i was able to finish it along with a lassi.
Staff was super friendly.
All in all I will come back again.
Forget to mention.. salty lassi was pretty spicy and one of the best I've had recently.
Edit: bumping to 5 start after my 2nd visit. Don't miss Seattle's best salt lassi.
