Food was delicious, their mac salad is a favorite to my wife that is picky. Their chocolate macadamian cookies are amazing too. All I wish for for this restaurant is to serve better fish, talapia isn’t a quality fish. They should sell Hawaiian Style Poke and Tuna. It’s more fitting and appropriate then the not so exciting talapia. Anyways the food I had was the Fire Island Bowl with island rice, char-grilled chicken, veggies, pineapple teriyaki topping and all the seasonings. Another sauce that made it great was the Thai-peanut sauce. This bowl is worth returning for and I’m happy we ran into this place after visiting the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
Hands down THE BEST ISLAND dinning I've ever had. Delicious. The Cook who's also an owner a phenomenal chef and a great guy customer service is excellent. Please please go have a great meal and a wonderful experience. Then you all at THE FIRE ISLAND GRILL.. See you all soon. Cheers 🍻!
Sandwiches are great, came twice in a week for work location. Tried the Sandwiches combos (carrot ginger and potato leak soup). Tasty, clean place and great atmosphere. Staff are really nice. If I come to Simi Valley, I'd stop and get this Steak Sandwich.
My husband and I wanted some authentic Greek, this hotel suited me perfectly. Well cooked and good value for money. The waiter was amazing. Small place and tables close together but otherwise fantastic.
Delicious food and unique classic atmosphere. Great service who goes above and beyond to make us feel special as they knew it was our honeymoon when the manager came with a personalized greeting card. We had a three week honeymoon and ate at many restaurants and I still think about the food I ate there (and we live in Brooklyn so it's hard to surprise us with Italian!).
If you’re looking for some really good food at a very affordable price Fire Island Grill in Simi Valley is it. The food here is always fresh and delicious. I recommend the Fire Island Bowl with Char-Grilled Chicken, sautéed veggies, half Island Rice and half Island Noodles. My favorite sauce is the Lava Flow Peanut, but if your not into spicy go with Pineapple Teriyaki. The Pineapple Chicken Sandwich is also very good.
Came with 6 people last Saturday evening. The food was excellent. I had the lobster ravioli. The ravioli were very light and thin. The sauce was also quite light. Two of the couples had steaks. One was a ribeye and one was a filet. They were cooked to perfection and were probably the 'real hit' of the night.
I love the place!. I ate there almost every other day, and don't forget to say hello to Jimmy, he's a really cool guy, one of the owners and that's another reason why I go to his place. "My Island Brother!" P.S. Don't forget the street Tacos, it's off the hook. LOOOOOVE IT!
