You can fine Roy's Cheesesteaks at 2900 Highlands Pkwy SE, Ste 1, Smyrna, GA 30082 at the end of a small shopping center. Parking is in the lot out front and there appears to be plenty - getting into and out of the lot is a bit awkward but manageable. The location is off South Cobb Drive and Highland Parkway.
Great cheesesteaks. The restaurant is situated in a small shopping center near a gas station, and quite frankly, appears unassuming. The staff is friendly and prompt. Ordered a classic cheesesteak--which was amazing. The cheesesteak is served on soft bread and stuffed full of steak and your choice of toppings. Unlike many other cheesesteaks in this city-the sandwich consists of more meat than bread. The French fries are crispy and fresh, and not overly greasy. Definitely recommended.

The Gula Report. I was in the area, so I decided to go by and try this cheesesteak that I've read so much about. I'm doing a full critique of the establishment, which includes grading five categories that I believe make up the basic elements that define a restaurant. The final scores are in "forks" rather than stars. Here we go:
Atmosphere: The facility is well decorated and it does appear that there has been an effort made to give it a nice pop-culture ambience. Very professional, nothing really unique, but definitely deserves THREE FORKS!!!
Cleanliness: I went in near closing time, and one could see that it had been a busy day. It wasn't dirty, but could've been more tidy. I didn't have any major cleanliness issues. Health Score was 94. I think they deserve a 3.5 FORKS!!!.
Service: Difficult to grade in this type of restaurant. You basically walk up and order and wait for your food, no service that merits tipping, BUT they were friendly and extremely fast!!! They whipped up my burger, two cheesesteaks and an order of fries in like five minutes!!! For that alone they deserve FOUR FORKS!!!!
Quality of Food: I like the cheeseburger, it wasn't the best, but a good basic burger. I was very surprised at how tasty the fries were.....very good. We sampled a regular Cheesesteak and a Loaded one. These sandwiches are on soft hoagie buns and just loaded down with finely chopped ingredients. A little finer than what I prefer. I felt like they could have used more cheese.....thankfully this didn't impact the juiciness. They were moist enough that I didn't have to choke bites down. Good sandwiches...not the best, but definitely not the worse. I would give the food's quality a 3.5!!!.
Value of Food: I felt like the prices were good compared to other cheesesteaks I've encountered. I would give them 3.5 FORKS for their pricing!!!.
Final Score: 3.5 FORKS!!!. GOOD, I'd eat here again, but I doubt I'd travel a long distance to eat here.

Most Authentic & Best Philly in Atlanta. I have been trying to find a classic Philly Cheesesteak in Atlanta for three years. I started doing some research on where to go after countless bad cheesesteaks and a lot of people said Roy's. I finally tried them today and they were great! The best tasting Philly Cheesesteak in Atlanta and certainly the most authentic. Roy's Cheesesteaks covers the three crucial aspects, soft bread, plenty of thin ribeye and most importantly they have Cheez Whiz just like Pat's King of Steaks in Philly. You gotta try them.
A little pricey but I love it. Great phillies and tasty fries. Very filling.
Great prices, food was fantastic, yes they have red birch beer on the fountain and tastykakes on the menu. It was a 20 minute drive from the house but worth every mile
A Philly Taste. Without a doubt this has to be the best authentic Philly Cheesesteak I have ever had. I had the large Philly with sweet peppers, onions and the Wiz Wit. I ate at 1:00, didn't eat dinner last night was still full. Awesone Red Birch Beer. I'm going back real soon.
