Nan, Heather and their crew come to work with a good concern for doing their best to serve the public.
Please know that in the difficulties of life your efforts to serve are appreciated.
I posted this on my time line and wanted to share with the employees at Wendy's. You folks here are wonderful and approachable and should be proud of yourselves for a great job you are doing. God bless you all.
Sitting here in Wendy's just taking in some things, my heart feels heavy but not a bad heavy. I see a young father carrying his baby, talking with an older man and respectfully calling him "sir". I wave at an elderly gentleman sitting at a table waiting for his wife to order their food. His smile was big and inviting. As the young man and his family begin to exit the establishment, their well dressed little boy looks at me as I smile and give him a baby wave. The elderly man and his wife are talking to an employee of Wendy's as he is walking them to the exit in conversation as he holds the door open for them. My heart is heavy and full of this environment to the point a few tears escape the corners of my eyes. People aren't looking at the color of each other's skin in here today, they are just people being kind to people, neighbors loving on neighbors in conversation and care. This is what love feels like.
