Best pizza in town by far from a chef's point of view, but the pizza is second to the staff. Great job to Liz Underwood and her wonderful staff!!!

Our group from Cincinnati showed up at around 7:45 on August 8 with 19 people - 10 adults and 9 kids. The manager was so accommodating and had us seated within 10 minutes. Food and drink was wonderful. But it has to be noted that the waiter who took special care and gave attention to the kids table, was absolutely wonderful. We believe his name was Edward. It's a very rare occasion that these kids give extra hugs to a waiter or waitress, but this young fellow had to put up with their endless stream of thank yous, high fives and hugs -- and with a genuine smile on his face. He jumped right in there and poured pitchers of drinks, helped them with slices of pizza, brought over extra napkins. Just took time too make our birthday celebration meal very relaxing and a wonderful experience for all. There was a waitress who took care of the "adult" table and, though I did not get her name, she was absolutely wonderful also. Kuddos to your staff, and thanks to all for making our evening a great experience.

Excellent South Haven Pizza joint. The best Chicago style deep dish pizza I have had East of the windy city (and I lived there). We had the Chicago Fire deep dish and it was simply delicious. The staff were more than friendly and attentive. Inside it's a nice place and when the weather is nice you can eat outside as well. They also have a full bar and serve alcohol. You won't be disappointed.
Other than the unusual parking lot situation, Gino's East was great! The staff was reliable and friendly. Pizza was delicious! (and even reheated very well the next day...)
In addition to the food and service being satisfactory, seeing the Old Style mirrors and advertising brought me right back to my childhood in suburban Chicago.
Great pizza - exactly what plants crave. Stop through when you're in the area. We got the spinach mozzarella sticks, brussel sprouts, and this tasty tasty pizza. So full!!
Just opened and South Haven always has more people than tables so all restaurants are over crowded. Be patient you are probably on vacation so what's the hurry. They have typical new restaurant challenges but the food is great.
Just had an amazing Pie at Gino's. Garlic, Sausage and Basil. I couldn't stop eating! I had an awesome server named Joanne. So glad they opened this in South Haven!!
Got the personal deep dish, it was good. Prices are decent. Service was very good. Parking is not so good, buts it's a short walk from many off site parking lots.
Great food and great service, especially since they are under staffed.

It was almost like the one I frequented in Chicago. Food was good. Service was great. I visited in winter, but I bet the place is great with the garage doors in the summertime. Worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for deep dish pizza
Ignore the bad reviews, this place is awesome! Food was piping hot, served in a timely manner, and overall, was one of the best deep dish pizzas we’ve eaten to date. Crust was really, really good! Keep in mind, deep dish pizzas take time to cook and some folks don’t realize that. Moral of the story, it’s worth the wait (not that we waited any longer than we would for food at any other restaurant)! Order a beer, watch the game, and enjoy the cool views from the restaurant! Also worth noting, service was incredible! My drink was never empty, and our waitress while also running the bar, made frequent trips to check on us which we appreciated. Overall, AMAZING experience, and we would highly recommend! Thanks again Shawn!
