Wow! Firstly I had never heard of this restaurant before, stumbled upon it because I was vacationing and boy am I happy I did! I have celiac disease, the fact that they offer two gluten free options is a dream come true! The waffle boats were to die for! You can’t tell they’re gluten free. They’re fluff and delicious! The staff are extremely friendly as well! Our waiter ( I wish I remembered his name ) was very kind and asked it we wanted our picture taken which was very thoughtful! Thank you so much to the staff at pancake house for memorable vacation dining experience :)! ( ps I went twice in a row, which I would have gone at the beginning of my trip I would have been there everyday! )
We LOVE The Pancake Man! We go here for breakfast multiple times during our yearly Cape Cod vacation! The food is always so delicious, and even tho the line to get in is always long, the wait is never long!
I used to collect cans from the beach all summer to save for a trip to the pancake man when I was a kid.. after 30 plus years I made my way from Houston Texas to enjoy the blueberry pancakes and it brought back vivid memories!
The Pancake Man is a quality breakfast place that may be as old as time, but their food tastes fresh and home-y. I love their skillets because they are everything I could ask for: breakfast potatoes, eggs, cheese, lots of veggies, and bacon (The Down Home Skillet). I'm usually stuffed, but I try to make room for their Belgian waffles or of course, the pancakes. I enjoy their cinnabon pancakes because they are pretty simple and not too sweet. You can't go wrong with the chocolate chip pancakes either. Be sure to check it out!
Everything was great but 5 stars would mean perfection. I got the Red, White and Blue French Toast and I asked the waitress if the French Toast was Brioche and she said yes. (She was a foreign waitress). It wasn't. It was actually like blueberry BREAD turned into "french toast". Fell apart to pieces the second you put a fork in it. I couldn't even pick up a piece without it falling to crumbs. Was alright but not what I was expecting at all. The Whole Wheat French Toast was really delicious and the pancakes were good too.
Being that this place has "Pancakes"in the name I thought that's what they'd really be known for, expecting to see every other table ordering them with sky high pancakes topped with all sorts of crazy things haha but no, pancakes were kind of simple. Good, simple, family style breakfast place.
This place has been in business for decades. That says a lot for quality of food and great staff. We had to wait for all of our party (8) to arrive before they would seat us. It was very busy at the time, fully understand. The staff made accommodations for our handicap guest very pleasant without any big fuss. Definitely recommend eating here. Treat yourself to a great meal and friendly staff.

I have been here quite a few times over the years. I never had a bad experience. Todays visit was great. The waitress was very attentive and polite. Food was ordered and quickly brought out. My Coffee was continuously refilled! They have pancakes, omelets, combo meals with egg choice of meat, home fries, toast. They have juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Try it out!! Breakfast was incredible and reasonably priced the blueberry pancakes were incredible with tons of fresh Maine blueberries packed right into them. They were busy but are very speedy at cleaning tables and getting people into tables. Service was good as well.
Speedy service. We waited no longer that 10 minutes on a Tuesday @9:30am to a table for 4. Food was delicious my girls ordered buttermilk 🥞 and 🥓 and cinnful 🥞 with 🧈. A big hit for my ladies. I ordered an English muffin with bacon and a side of home fries, my husband had the peanut butter cup 🥞 stack that was filled with crumbles of Reese’s inside and on top served with whipped cream and a side of bacon. Every dish was devoured. Our server was exceptional for her attentiveness and efficiency. Unfortunately don’t remember her name but I will never forget her face. Greeted with a smile and sure departed all smiles for the family.
