There are two places here. One is White Dots restaurant, which has great basic food, but it's cash only. There a bit old fashioned, but local. The other is a CB and car stereo shop, again old-school but they do take CC. Good service local owned.
This place is great! I had the cowboy dog, and a chocolate malt. Both were excellent (unless your in a diet). Good food, fun atmosphere. Go check it out, just know they’re cash only, but have an ATM on site, and no public restrooms.
First, the ice cream is the BOMB! They have a great selection and change out the soft serve flavors often. The black raspberry soft ice cream was delicious! We did food first, ordered ahead and it was brought out to our vehicle as the inside dining is not yet opened. I had the garlic bread cheesesteak and I have to say it is one of my favorites. We also had hot dogs, loved them, fries - awesome, onion rings - awesome, and pork roll and cheese. Everything was honestly great. The prices are very reasonable. Cash only so bring your coin!!
I see why White Dotte is so popular locally. Excellent ice cream both soft and hard. Warning: expect a massive cone if you order a medium! Can't imagine how I could even finish a large, and I'm known for my appetite.
This place is a down-home slice of American pie straight out of the 1940’s or 50’s. Serving classic comfort food in a charming rest-stop setting right out of something you’d see in the movies, it’s clear why White Dotte has been feeding motorists and locals for decades. The staff is incredibly friendly- and fast. I’ve had the fried chicken and waffles, smothered in delicious white country gravy. I’ve also tried their slow-cooked, savory and sweet BBQ. Corn bread, baked beans, fried pickles, coleslaw and mac-n-cheese are all really delicious and taste like mom made them. This is great comfort food at a really good price. Try this place - but bring cash, as they don’t take cards. The only bathroom is a port-o-pottie, so don’t be expecting fancy facilities or anything. This is a rest stop, with only a few booth tables. Think greasy spoon with really nice people and rockin classic American food.
The burger was good. Safe and quick delivery service to your car by waiting in the parking lot and calling the order in on your cell phone They have the menu and their phone number posted on the door.
Over the top friendly and service above and beyond! The young people I encountered working there have a lot to be proud of. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Best soft serve in the county at least. This place is a little gem from yesteryear. Have a stop by grab a cone its well worth the trip
