The Triple Berry Pie, which is made of blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries, was one of the most satisfying pies I’ve ever had. It was jam packed full of berries and somehow—magically—it didn’t get a soggy bottom. We met who I assume is the owner and she told us the pie wouldn’t be overly sweet and she was right; it was just sweet enough. She let the berries provide most of the sugar. This pie cost $25 and IMHO was worth every penny. I already can’t wait to have it in the morning with coffee. The shop is about a half mile away from the Circle K and is on the same side of the road. Look for the “Pies” sign on the lawn

Our FAVORITE blueberry pie we could find on MDI. 🫐🥧 An absolute treat to eat! Perfectly balanced sweetness and served warm when we picked it up at 9:30am in the morning … the crust was delicious and the berries were the best quality! Note: Be aware, open time says 9am on google but they don’t open til ~9:30am!

If anywhere deserves 5 stars, it is here! I first had a slice of the wild blueberry pie at Thurston’s and knew I needed more! We ended up buying 4 pies including a strawberry rhubarb when all was said and done. They do sell out fast so I recommend going early just after 9 to get the best selection and freshest pies. They sell them til they’re gone and they sell out daily!
