I just recently wrote a review on how rude a waiter was last Wednesday an the owner promptly messaged me back on here and I will be coming back for a free meal and we are going to try the restaurant again if it goes well we will be coming back. Thank you very much Ken for taking our situation seriously.

Arrived 11:37
Immediately seated.
With menu's and goldfish crackers/kids coloring menu for the kids.
Got drinks with in 5 min
Within 10 min we were asked what we wanted to eat and the waiter was very sweet and talked to my kids with respect.
1150 we were served our appetizer
Nachos. Very Delicious! Devoured!
Heard baby crying. No big deal.
12:05 food arrived!:) pulled pork burger, jalapeño bacon burger, macNchees and kids burger w/frys yummy!!
Waiter did everything perfect!! His name was Travis, at the downtown branch.
We got the deep fried Oreos and huckleberry milkshakes. Many times I heard babies crying and no one made a big deal about it! This made me happy and showed me this is a family friendly restaurant. Today was a 10!!
On April 22nd, I held my wedding reception in the banquet room. From start to finish, everything was excellent. While the kitchen had hiccups that was really a Murphy's Law kind of night, it was a wonderful experience for my guests. Our three man crew worked their asses off dodging little natives (the kids who were there) dealing with a simplified menu and multiple guests with special dietary needs. I could not have asked for a better place to hold my reception. The Onion has been a special place for my family for years and will continue to come here in the future for all our special events.
