Saranac Commons is a delightful combination of food and retail businesses inside a renovated industrial warehouse in the coolest neighborhood in Spokane. This is a not-to-be-missed destination for visitors within easy walking distance of the Convention Center, a cushy hangout for University District students and downtown shoppers. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!
Every time I come to Spokane, I have to visit Saranac Commons .. The Common Crumb is very near and dear to my heart not just because my cousin Kate and her husband Jeremy own it but because of their passion for their baking and cooking with high quality and natural ingredients. I visited the Biscuit Wizard for the first time yesterday and it had to be the best biscuit and gravy I have ever had!! This will continue to be on my high priority stops when I am visiting Spokane from Denver.
Peace pie at Saranac Commons is a great place to get a pizza. The crust is excellent and the toppings are fresh. The specials are, to say the least, creative. But also really, really. Put in your order, grab a table and then go across the aisle to Black Label Brewing for a beer. Service is excellent, even on a busy Friday night. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be back.
Love this place. Go here all the time. The people here are great and the pizza place has some of the best in town. The black label brewing company has great beer on tap. I go for ciders and sours myself usually and this place has both. Two pinball machines serve as watchful guardians. The coffee place is particularly good. Best matcha I've had in a while.
I love this place. Saranac commons has a diverse selection of local shops. I recommend going here and grabbing a slice of pizza from Peace Pie and brew from Black Label, or a latte from Hatch and a sandwich from Stella's.
Need coffee... sandwich... pizza.. chicken...beer...mimosas??? This is the place to go!
Everything in the inside of this building tastes great. Customer service is beyond great(especially at the Peace Pie!).
Such a fun place with a rad vibe. There are food choices for just about everyone, not too mention the baristas at Hatch make the best espresso in the Spokane area.
Love shops and restaurants and a theater as well. Very eclectic. Great place to vist.
Great variety of local businesses, directly attached to Meelyn's. It's a great place to grab a bite, a drink, or a coffee.
Nice atmosphere in downtown Spokane to have a morning coffee, a lunch break, or hang with some friends for pizza & beer 🍕🍻
