When bakers and brewers who care about their craft come together, The Grain Shed happens. We came in for breakfast on route to the airport and was welcomed by the sweet aromas of fresh breads.
While it was too early to try their artisan beer, our sandwiches, oats, blueberry cake and coffee hit all the right spots.
The friendly staff were very attentive and got our orders out promptly so that we don't have to rush to make it to the airport.
Looking forward to returning to Spokane and visting this place again.
Fantastic bakery and brewery in one. Had the bread flight, a sampling of several different breads, along with different cheeses and spreads. All were excellent, but the Turkey Red Wheat with Seeds was outstanding!
All breads and beer are made with local grains, most with heritage grains that you won't see elsewhere. Highly recommended!
The best croissant I’ve ever had. I got the ham and cheese and then had to go back to buy an entire container of the schug spread that is on it because it was perfection. We’ve also tried and loved their cookies, lunchbox and oat pan bread, sticky bun and biscuits. So excited to eventually work our way through their entire menu.
Drool. SO good! We had the Purple Egyptian and Oatis and loved both. My favorite was the Purple Egyptian. So nice to eat such rich dense bread, while enjoying the smell. We ate it with soft cheeses and butter. I still have half a loaf of Oat, so I'm going to use some garlic butter on a couple of slices. Nom.
First time in and I really enjoyed it. I just had the simple avocado toast. Very tasty! Lots of breads to be had here, some pastries and sweets too. They also have in-house brews. They have an assortment of ciders also. No table service and they want you to bus your table when finished. That’s ok though because the quality of the food is worth it. Will definitely be back for more!
Just wow!
I had heard about The Grain Shed nearly a year ago and it took me this long to try it out. For shame! It will not be that long before I’m back! I absolutely adored this establishment.
I went with a friend for breakfast on a Saturday and it was a pleasantly busy place. The space is cozy but there are quite a few tables. We shared a few items and the breakfast sandwich was incredible! It probably could have fed four people it was so generous. The “shug” sauce that was on the sandwich and avocado toast was absolutely delicious! I’m wary of sauces and I fell in love with this!
I wanted to try everything they had but had to settle for a few items because it was so filling. The croissant was delicious and a sesame rye loaf cake home with me to be enjoyed heartily. I also took home a fruit danish for my husband and even a few days later it was still scrumptious!!
I’d you haven’t tried The Grain Shed yet plan your trip right now! If you have you know it’s worth getting back to!
