Great vibe, awesome food, and a great location. Keep up the good work and things will get better. I will be back for dinner so I can try some gumbo and collards. Ribs we're worth the wait.
Well Done!!! ☆ I cannot say enough positives about this food!!! ☆☆☆☆☆ Plump, non greasy, southern drumstick that one closes their eyes to savor the flavor! ☆ Delicious individual pork ribs available with in house bbq sauce, Mmmmm! ☆ Cat fish is perfectly coated & flaky! ☆ Marie Calendars does not have anything on the sweet cornbread! ☆ Pecan ice cream was a wonderful treat in this heat ☆ Cold refreshing sweet tea ☆ I want to add your tee shirt to my unique flavored restaurant collection! (ie Johnnie's Pastrami-no other like it) ☆ I even went back and bought my family's dinner to go, so they could taste it too! Another "BEST ABOUT" is that I did not feel over salted after as most places-Kudos on that!!! ☆☆☆ Supporting a worthy cause is a Bonus! ☆ I see this as a soon to be, standing room only restaurant :) Glad it was in the #SpokesmanReview
I don't really review many things, but I can't believe that this place has anything less than 5 star reviews. Food was fantastic and everyone was extremely friendly. What else do you need.
I have been on the hunt for some fried chicken in Spokane. Sadly this is not the place, but the ribs were fantastic. It’s a cool looking place on the outside, and inside it has a nice vibe. Most importantly they have a great mission of helping out their community. Would certainly return again for the ribs!
Just heard about this restaurant. Had to try it since not many restaurants cook southern food. Upon arrival, I had the feeling it was going to be great. Boy I was right. Their bbq ribs are mouth watering, fried chicken perfectly done, yummy cornbread, and delicious desserts. You have to try it. The staff is great, reasonable prices and a great cause....for the community 👏
I grew up in the south, this place reminds me of home. Hands down best ribs in Spokane. Fried chicken isn’t weighed down with loads of batter and it’s seasoned all the way through. Potato salad as good as mom’s if not better. Please don’t tell my mom. Staff was friendly and efficient plus there mission is to help the community and youth. I would give them 10 stars.
Food was great. Chicken was juicy and tasty, collard greens were out of this world, red beans and rice delicious, potato salad was very good, rib sandwich was also very good, fried green tomatoes were also out of this world! The only disappointment was no Mac and cheese available....oh well hopefully next time??
Loving this place! Probably the best greens in Spokane. Chicken done perfectly, ribs fall of the bone. Best of all it’s priced well and I love Fresh Soul’s mission to help the East Side Community. Get you some!!
Awesome food and great to see them training kids for the world. Good job, y'all. That catfish was 5 star... so was the corn bread... and the beans and rice.... and the tea... Keep up the great work in the community.
